The house is great for Outdoor Entertaining and includes a Pool, Spa, Fireplace, Large Deck and outdoor kitchen - grill, refrigerator. All of the Bedrooms have a Smart TV.

Beautiful house, perfect for entertaining and relaxing. Great location for SXSW

I've rented a lot of houses over the years and this house was perfect for having a large group. The layout has several lounging areas and plenty of space for our group. Every detail was attended to from having instructions for all the appliances and to having cold water bottles in the fridge. We will rent this house again the next time we come to Austin for SXSW. Thanks Ronny!!

Wonderfully decorated home

My family and I stayed for the second weekend of ACL. Ron was very helpful and communicative with every little thing we needed. As someone who works in the VR space, he did an outstanding job of making my family and I feel welcome. The backyard and pool has plenty of space to relax and the pool is a perfect size. The pictures do not do the property justice as to how nice it is. Highly recommend staying here.

Good stay, great location, interesting owner

The property is in a great location for ACL (we ended up walking back from the festival one night). It's clean and has great amenities (pool, hot tub, etc.). Be prepared to sign and acknowledge that you can't have music by the pool after 10pm! Additionally, of all the times I've used VRBO, I've never had to do a walk through with an owner. It's obvious he lives there full-time, rents it for festivals and is over the top protective. Be prepared for a lot of text messages, and a scrupulous walk-through at the end. Apparently, a newly hung picture fell off it's nail by the front door (no one in my party saw the picture let alone knew why it fell) but, we were overly scrutinized for a picture we didn't even know about. We ended up getting our full refund, but only after being criticized for a "very expensive picture and a frame that he'll have to now fix." Here's an idea; if it's so precious to you than don't hang it in a rental house. This is the most micro-managed VRBO I've ever been in.

Fantastic Place

This is a wonderful home. Beautiful, private, comfortable. Much larger than the pictures show. Perfect for our group of eight. Ronnie was wonderful to work with and always checking in to see if we needed anything. The BEST VRBO we have ever stayed in.

Ronny's home and attention to our stay was more than we could have asked for! His home is an absolute dream. The outdoor space provides for a great location to hang by the pool or enjoy the warm nights in Austin. The indoor space is beautiful, as well, and stocked so well with kitchen supplies, towels and comfy beds. If there was even the slightest issue, Ronny was so helpful and made himself available. Finally, the location was perfect, a short uber from downtown and a nice walk to SoCo area. We loved it all!

Great house, great location, great owner.

We had a blast staying at this home for a couple of nights in Austin. Ronny was super helpful and easy to work with. It is relatively close to all the things you want to do in Austin (not walking distance- but short drives). The back deck and pool were very enjoyable (even in the scorching summer heat).

The best house in Austin!

My girlfriends and I just got back from our stay in Austin and I'm so happy we chose to rent this house. Several other reviewers have said that the pictures don't do it justice, and that's 100% accurate. While the house looks great in the photos, it's actually so much nicer in person. The best part is the outdoor space. The pool and hot tub were used every single day - we loved having our own personal oasis just outside our back door. It's so gorgeous and relaxing outside by the pool, and I'm so thankful they have 4 full size lawn chairs for guests - this was something that most rental houses are missing and one of the main reasons we chose this house. All of the guest rooms are great - and even the apartment suite attached to the garage is really nice and cozy. I honestly would come back to this house anytime I visited Austin. It was such a blast, and only a short 10 min. cab ride to downtown. My only complaint is that the guest rooms need new pillows - they are super hard and not comfortable. If they can fix that, this house is 1000% perfection for a great Austin weekend!

Beautiful home. Great location. Perfect layout. Very comfortable and inviting.

Peacock Lane lives up to the hype. The home was impeccable, the pool and spa area were great and the owner was a delight to work with. We spent three nights for our annual golf trip with guys from Dallas, NYC and LA. All agreed they would stay at the home again.

Perfect for a relaxing girls weekend

The house & backyard was perfectly decorated and really set up to enjoy each others company. Great conversation & lounging areas. Ronny was super helpful; we had a hard time figuring out the hot tub/spa but he immediately sent someone over to fix it for us! Kitchen was stocked with everything you would need. My only request would be, since the pantry is locked (100% understand) it would be nice to have one or two empty cabinets so that we could store food away instead of having to only use the counter top. We were only there for a weekend so it wasn't a huge deal, but if you plan on staying longer or cooking a lot, you might want to make that request. Overall wonderful stay and have already recommended the house to friends looking for a rental!

The Perfect Home

The PERFECT Austin home for a weekend get-away! Beautifully designed and immaculate, the home offered the perfect set-up and amount of space for our group of eight. The backyard and outdoor kitchen meant we never even left the house, despite its great location! The owner was also easily accessible and answered a couple of quick questions for us. We have rented homes for weekend get-aways several times and this was hands-down the best. Thanks for a great weekend!

Better than we expected. And we expected the best!

The house was beautiful (like a private, beautifully landscaped and designed, resort!) and in a very convenient location. We had a mini family reunion, adult children, as well as younger children, and all were comfortable. Ronny, the owner checked in with us several times, and answered our few questions. We were especially appreciative of the "little things"... coffee and fixin's, washer and dryer, pool towels and toys, and a well-stocked kitchen (plates and silverware, along with serving bowls and trays, and condiments). We would highly recommend this rental!

The listing and pictures represented it exactly. It was super clean and overall well-maintained. The house is just a few minutes from downtown yet super close to a lot of great restaurants/attractions in S.Austin. The all-home sound system was a major plus. I've already recommended it to several friends. Ronny was a wonderful host. He did a walk through, explained all the bells and whistles and quickly responded to texts for the few questions I had. Beautiful Resort Style Bungalow perfect for a group of friends getaway

I absolutely can't say anything negative. This place is a next level rental in terms of amenities, comfort, and style. Almost hotel-like in the best way imaginable. The pictures which look pretty good don't do it justice either, and notably, I feel like it's actually bigger than it looks. 8 people is a perfect fit. I just rented this spot for a girl's trip and needless to say, we had a hard time leaving it to go out for the night and otherwise. Ronnie, the owner, is great also! Very easy going and communicative when you need him to be, but definitely leaves the guests to it once they arrive! All rules and information are left in a neat little packet that is out for you when you get there. We were all sad when we had to leave but hope we can rent this annually if allowed back! Thanks again for sharing your home with us! It made for a memorable relaxing mini vacation between friends!

Great Entertaining home , 2 miles from downtown!

The house was decorated nicely & in style. When we arrived all the lights were on & music was playing throughout, which made it welcoming. The back patio area has an outdoor kitchen, fireplace, and pool/spa. The backyard was tranquil & we enjoyed the using the spa. The floor plan of the house makes it easy to entertain & the private guest house out front would be great for couples traveling together. The owner is easy to communicate with & responds to texts quickly. Thanks for the use of your home!

Excellent home in an incredible location.

The house is exactly as represented - spotless, great layout, and beautifully furnished. You are 5 minutes from almost anywhere (including the freeways). Ronny was easy to work with, considerate, and knows what he is doing. I would recommend this house to anyone, but particularly to groups of 4-8 people.

Great Property

We rented this home for a friends weekend getaway in Austin. I can't say enough great things about the property. The owner was prompt and courteous in communication. The home was even nicer than the pictures posted on the site. The group had a great time and would recommend this property for future stays!
