Waterfront Cottage with Private Beach Access - Newly Renovated!

Sandra's stay proved difficult from the start as she arrived 3 hours before check in time (with no notice) and proceeded to confront the cleaners about accessing the property. She was then unhappy with the speed at which they cleaned. At no time during her stay did Sandra communicate any issues to us. She stayed until a few mins before scheduled check out - after requesting a late check out. When we were unable to accommodate she was less than pleased. My cleaners entered the property within 45 mins of her departure and did not communicate any bug issues. So apparently the "thousands" of bugs appeared just after Sandra was denied a late check out and disappeared shortly after her departure. I would not rent to Sandra again.

Sorry you didn't enjoy your stay - but please be fair in your review. You registered for 8 guests and had closer to 20. You literally had people sleeping in tents and in cots outside in the car port. We informed you that the septic on the premises was not equipped for so many people when you booked but you disregarded that advice. The cops were called by the neighbors as you were blaring music at super high levels well past midnight despite several requests to reduce your noise levels. In terms of not trying to fix anything - you stated that you found the place hot so we brought fans over immediately. You were upset at that time as we asked you to move your cars - which were parked on the front and back lawn rather than the drive way. As for being a clean place it was spotless when you arrived. We had to remove over 12 bags of garbage when you left - which is a lot considering you swore there was only 8 people there for 2 nights. I apologize that your vacation was not what you hoped but to rate the property so low despite being told that it was not appropriate for more than 8 than disregarding that advice feels unfair. In the future I would recommend renting a place more accommodating to your groups size and party intentions.
