About this property

No 19. The Reservoir Cottage

The cottage is an historic sandstone building, built in 1879.
The property is in a calm & tranquil location, set in 2.5 hectares of land, with views facing the reservoir in the 'Pine Reserves'. Originally built for the reservoir manager, the reservoir used to supply all the water to Australia's oldest mining town, Kapunda. Located in the Barossa Valley, 15-minute drive to the nearest winery, 45 mins to Clare Valley. Maggie Beer Farm shop 20 mins drive, golf course & public pool in town.

Space
Updated with uber lux in mind, three rooms with queen beds. Each room has been designed for comfort and a good night’s sleep, whilst still retaining the original features.
The views all around are lovely, lots of wildlife to see.
The dramatic 4 metre high ceilings are beautiful and keep the house cool in summer.
The log fire in the lounge is lovely for snug winters , and a fire pit outside for winter star gazing, and marshmallow roasting, the view is outstanding.
Aircon for summer heat
