If you’d like to order groceries (example: Instacart) for your arrival day, we’ll take your groceries and put them in the refrigerator/freezer, or on the counter for you. Just let us know a day ahead so we can be sure to be home for the time frame you select (starting at/after 1 pm). No extra charge.

If you need a kitchen appliance that’s not on the premises, ask the host to see if one is available to borrow.

If you’d like to ship anything (boxes no more than 25 lbs.) here in advance, feel free to do so. Ask the host for address information, and we’ll have your packages inside for you when you arrive.

Host and/or co-Host live downstairs. No shared spaces, inside or outside. You have a private entrance and a private parking space.

Plenty of street parking except for 12/1-4/30 [2am-6am] during Worcester's parking ban for snow, but then one additional parking space is available in the Host's driveway.

We welcome visiting nurses and discount monthly rentals. Please ask.

Outside furniture is put out (Memorial Day) or stored (late September) though two Adirondack chairs are out all year long. "Fire pit" is a Zen fire table, available in summer. There's no way to maintain the yard and pool without maintaining them: workers may be in yard/pool on weekday mornings for maintenance

Note that the backyard is subject to pollen, leaves, bird droppings, insects and wildlife.

○ An electronically signed rental agreement, which includes additional terms, is required to be signed within 24 hours of when you book to avoid cancellation.
○ A $500 off-platform security hold on credit card upon signing rental agreement but it will not be placed until two days prior to arrival and released seven days after departure, if no damages are reported. If the security hold is not provided, or the credit card information provided within 24 hours of booking the reservation is cancelled without refund. Please note we are API- connected to a hotel-style software called OwnerRez to safely and securely take off-platform security deposits.
○ No smoking, vaping etc. allowed anywhere on this property (inside/outside)
○ No portable heaters as that is a fire risk.
○ No parties/events allowed
○ No shoes worn in the house, unless agreed to on platform
○ Six exterior Ring cameras record the exterior of our home, including the pool area, and are usually on and recording video but not warranted to be so. Three are in the backyard; one is on the SE front elevation, another in the Host's private patio, the other at the Host's driveway; also two Ring doorbell cams.
○ Occupancy, inside or outside, whether overnight or not, is limited to registered guests unless advance permission on the platform.
○ Penalties for rule violations like exceeding occupancy, noise that violates the Worcester noise ordinance, changing the pool heater setting and smoking apply, including cancellation without refund.
○ No open flames inside house or within six feet of house outside: For example: candles, incense
○ Stays longer than two weeks require a housecleaning at $173.25 every two weeks; you can pay cleaner, Neuzeni, directly. This cost is in addition to the stated rental price.
○ On stays longer than a week our gardener, Bob, needs inside access once/week to water inside plants.
○ In winter we make best efforts to provide snow shoveling from driveway to front door by the end of snow days (when snowfall exceeds 1”). A shovel is available for guest use, along with a bucket for de-icer (when stocked, though availability isn’t guaranteed). Snow may fall from the roof onto pavers and steps as it melts—guests are responsible for clearing this if needed. Guest is also responsible for any additional salting (calcium chloride or magnesium chloride).
○ No bikes stored inside.
○ No portable heaters inside or within six feet of building or shed.
○ Please don't walk on landscaping or walls.

POOL:
○ Guests must put the solar cover on the pool each night and whenever pool is not used for 4+ hours to conserve the heat of the pool. It is the guest's responsibility to skim the pool if they so desire.
○ Swimming is at your own risk : IT IS REGISTERED GUESTS' RESPONSIBILITY TO MAKE SURE THAT EVERYONE USING THE POOL READS, UNDERSTANDS AND ABIDES BY THE POOL SAFETY RULES, UNDERSTANDING THAT EVERYONE SWIMS AT THEIR OWN RISK. NO LIFEGUARD IS EVER ON DUTY.
