The house was easy enough to find. The key was waiting for us. When we entered the house, it was nice. There seems to be a few little things that the owner hasn’t fixed. (Taps/cupboards)
Our big concerns with the house that the main bathroom on the second floor did not have any lights. I did ask the homeowner to come and change the bulbs which I’m sure he would have but I don’t actually think it was a bulb issue. I think it was electrical issue as the switch wasn’t even able to be turned on and when you push on the switch, the bedroom light next-door turned off. We did have to plug a lamp into the bathroom outlet so that we could shower in there. The one main thing I look for my family is a functional kitchen. It was very minimal. The oven on the stove is broken which is inconvenient. There is a toaster oven , but I don’t think that should suffice in place of an oven. There is minimal pots, pans and baking sheet to cook with. There are plenty of dishes and cutlery, but very minimal cooking utensils. The hot tub only had one pump that was working so only one person had jets. This is cool if you only have one in the hot tub at a time but as this is a feature that comes with the house I think it should be noted for future renters. one of the beds broke when my son sat on it. The bed should not break when sat on. I hope these get fixed. P.s. trying to find a place to dump your garbage/recyling is annoying. Just tell your renters when the garbage/recycling day is.
