Wouldn't Recommend

We were greeted with a smell of trash can that had not been left by the curb for disposal. The smell and the flies were horrible. There was trash thrown in the drainage area in front of the home. The cleaning crew made the beds and that was about it. There were dead bugs that weren't swept up. Trash left on the nightstand. Ice trays were left on the top of the refrigerator melting. Sticky residue left on the refrigerator shelves. We had to call the property manager because the ac thermostat was locked, and we couldn't access controls to change temp. When you pay as much as we did for the stay, I believe access to the thermostat would be included. We had to wait for the property manager to come and change the thermostat. Even then, we couldn't leave it at the 73 degrees requested in the check- out instructions, because it was still left locked. The water in the shower was extremely hot and we couldn't get cold to work. Property manager never responded to our messages about this. We had to shower at another family members house. Which was a huge inconvenience. The one good thing about the home was the location. We won't be back to this rental.

Lovely Beach Area Rental House

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house was clean. The kitchen was well stocked. It was in a quiet neighborhood close to the water. It was maybe a 10 min drive to Rockport Beach. Probably a little less. HEB was nearby too. The kitchen has a mixer and a blender and large sized pots and pans - items I've found most rental properties to be lacking in. Though the largest pot was missing a lid. There were no pizza pan/cookie sheet (one or the other would have been really helpful), and pot holders. I also found the king bed to be too stiff, but that's a personal preference. It was plenty spacious for the 3 of us and would do just fine for 4 as well. My kids loved using the provided boogie boards at the beach too. The air blowing was a little loud, but no issues for sleeping. The bedroom got a little warm at night, but leaving the door open and turning the air down whether fine. There was an a/c unit of some kind in the bedroom, but it was too noisy to run at night. I did reach out to the owner with a question one time and got a very prompt reply. Check in and out were simple. All the instructions were emailed to me, including the door code. Would def stay here again.

Very nice place

Nice place. Didn’t have any towels had to buy some. Also a loud noise coming from a water line or something in the next unit kept turning on and off.

Near many Fulton restaurants

Needed an extra clean. Outdoor area was filthy and unuseable! No DW soap, two stained dish towels, no washcloths. Wondered about the vice grips on a waterline in closet?? Nice firebush with lots of hummingbirds. No grill evident. Bed (K) was great and very nice washer/dryer!
