Arrived at the apartment, and it stunk with tobacco smoke. It took a couple of days to air the apartment, but there was still an underlying smell. The apartment is in need of some maintenance and upkeep. Cleaning is at an average standard, with smoke butts found on the balcony. (Obvious source of the smell in the apartment.) Furniture is badly beaten, with stains & dents. The toilet would not stop flushing after each use, and there is no working exhaust fan in the bathroom. It was necessary to lift the lid on the toilet cistern each time to stop it flushing. It is hard to understand how previous post visit inspections passed given the issues. Given the price paid, I was expecting a much higher standard of accommodation.
