Welcome to Mountain Dreaming, a stunning 5-bedroom, 3-bathroom log cabin nestled in the private community of Whisper Lake within Sapphire Valley. As you enter through the covered entrance, you'll be embraced by an inviting open floor plan, encompassing the living room and dining area. The living room boasts natural wood exposed beams and comfortably seats 8-10 guests around a breathtaking stone fireplace. The well-equipped kitchen provides all the necessary appliances for coffee, delightful breakfasts, and dinners, while the dining table accommodates 8 guests.

Heading down the hallway from the living area, you'll find a full bathroom shared by two lovely guest bedrooms. Each guest bedroom is thoughtfully furnished with queen beds, closets, nightstands, and extra seating for added comfort. Moving upstairs, a spacious loft awaits, offering board games, cards, and additional seating, along with its own private balcony. Adjacent to the loft, the primary bedroom is situated, featuring a private office area, a luxurious king bed, a flat-screen TV, doors leading to a private balcony, and an en-suite full bathroom. The en-suite bathroom is a serene retreat, complete with a deep jetted bathtub and a separate stone walk-in shower.

Venturing to the lower level, you'll discover an additional living area and playroom, perfect for children to indulge in delightful activities. A second stone fireplace adds to the cozy ambiance. On this level, you'll also find an extra bedroom, which includes 2 twin bunk beds, and across the hall, a sleeping nook with two twin beds. Both sleeping areas share a full bathroom with a convenient walk-in shower.

This home comes with the option to purchase Sapphire Valley Resort amenities. These amenities are not at the home. They are in a separate drivable location. You may join for $5/day or $25/week per person. Your amenity card will allow access to 2 outdoor swimming pools, one indoor heated pool, 2 hot tubs, wet sauna, exercise room, arcade, ping pong, outdoor miniature golf, horseshoes, basketball courts, tennis/pickleball courts, playground, track, picnic tables, community center, organized excursions to Cherokee and the Biltmore House in Asheville, a 9 hole (par 3) golf course, Zip-Lining, High Ropes Course, Fairfield Lake boating amenities and discounts on ski lift tickets and ski equipment rentals during the winter season.

Your reservation includes a damage protection plan. The damage protection plan is $50, and it covers up to $3,000 in damages. In lieu of purchasing the damage protection plan, guests have the option to choose a refundable security deposit. If you would like to pay a refundable security deposit, please contact us. The security deposit is $500 and will be administered subject to the NC Tenant Security Deposit Act.
