The Farmhouse provides a restful atmosphere in the Starke area. Our three bedroom, two bath home is ideal for families passing through for family holidays, girlfriend getaways, funerals, weddings, and romantic getaways. This home is a collection of rustic farmhouse style with the modern conveniences. It allows visitors to step into the country and enjoy the peace and quiet of farm life. Enjoy the view across acres of pasture from the sun porch or sit in front of the fireplace for a romantic night. Enjoy quiet nights and early mornings listening to the neighbor’s cows. It’s been said “it’s like walking into a hug.”

Built in 1970 this home was part of a working farm for 29 years. Beautiful, handmade barn doors grace this home with classy farmhouse elegance. Come join us for fabulous sunsets across the pasture.

1. Check-in is at 4:00 PM on your first rented day
2. Upon arrival, please check the house for any damage, uncleanliness or issues. If you find anything, please report those immediately to the owners!
3. No smoking in the house, NO pets allowed of any kind!!

4 Do not try to clean the copper sink in the hall bathroom! That means do not scrub or put any cleaners on it…

5 The barn is not included in the rental, please don’t enter. Do not enter the adjacent fields with livestock, this is not our property.
6 No parties are allowed on this property
7 No trespassing on Neighbors property.
8 Items in this house are for your use, but use with care.
9 Trash will be picked up on Thursday by the garbage company.

1. Please strip the beds and put used towels on the floor.
2 Please start the dishwasher before you leave.
3 Please check out by 12:00 PM on your last rented day
4Turn off lights, fans before leaving. Please turn A/C thermostats up to 80°. Or Heat down to 60

Fun on the farm

We were looking for a good place to stay for a reasonable price, in order to attend our daughter’s graduation from UF. We loved the atmosphere, decor and the adorable cows! My teen and adult kids loved making s’mores by the fire pit. We hope to stay again! The kitchen was fantastically equipped and everything was so comfortable and clean.

Very clean and the ambiance takes you back to the days of cowboys and the old western frontier.

Great Property

Clean, quiet, and comfortable farmhouse in a great location. Enjoyed sitting around the fireplace and the fire pit with our friends. Very nice kitchen, stocked with all the equipment necessary to cook for our group. Kimberly and her family were outstanding and helped us feel at home.

Wedding Trip

We rented this house for our family to stay at for the weekend of my oldest daughter's wedding. It was perfect. My daughter got ready for her wedding in the house and we could not have asked for anything better.

Paradise during chaos

My family and I left our home due to hurricane Milton. After bouncing around a little, we found ourselves at this property. The stay was amazing! Communication with the host was top notch. Very friendly and welcoming. The house and surrounding land was so peaceful. We enjoyed every minute we stayed. I would highly recommend staying here. We will surely be visiting again. While chaos was happening in our home town, we were welcomed and taken care of by the host and her family. A 100/100 for me!

Country peace and quiet

We enjoyed our stay at The Farmhouse, and would highly recommend it to anyone who loves the country. We enjoyed all the neighboring animals including the cows, donkey, horse, egrets and the many robins who visited each morning. The Farmhouse was clean and roomy. Our king sized bed was very comfortable. We loved having each our own recliner. The large desk was a bonus that my husband loved for working on his hobbies. We also appreciated the good lighting as we both love to read in the evening. Kimberly was a joy to work with and get to know. She had good tips and suggestions of things to do and places to go. She cared that we had a good experience while staying at The Farmhouse.

charming, unique and accessible

Traveling with a wife who relies on a manual wheelchair, it is always a challenge to find appropriate accommodations. The Farmhouse did not disappoint. The small lift over the threshold at the front door did not pose a problem, and with my help we could enjoy the back porch, even though it was a step down. The master bedroom and bath with the amazing walk-in shower were fully accessible. The other bedrooms and bath were not so much, but we did not need to use them. The Farmhouse is a little off the beaten path, but conveniently close to towns with their restaurants and stores. We especially enjoyed riding on the near-by rail-trails with my bike and her recumbent trike. The old tractor and horse in the barn lent themselves to the country feel as did the flock of wild turkeys who frequent the pasture most mornings and evenings. The house is uniquely and creatively decorated to add to its charm. Kimberly was very generous with the supply of paper products and a supply of some of the best coffee I have ever had. Kimberly and her husband Mike live close and stopped by a couple of times to be sure we had everything we needed. It was instantly like visiting with old friends. A mild illness had delayed our arrival by a day, and Kimberly even refunded our fee for it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Farmhouse, and you will too!

Wonderful Home!

We came to town for a family memorial and really enjoyed the house and peace and quite it offered. We had a range of adults and kids/babies in the house comfortably. Would definitely recommend this beautiful home.

Excellent Location and Beautiful Property

We stayed two nights for a family wedding. Everything was perfect, and the home is in a gorgeous, quiet setting, while still close to restaurants and stores. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay again if we were in the area.

A home, location, host!

This home was welcoming, clean, organized, well-stocked. Hosts Kimberly and Mike went above and beyond to answer questions prior to and during our stay. "Premier Host" does not do her justice; book this property and you will see for yourself. The location is peaceful and scenic, while yet being very convenient to nearby grocery stores and restaurants in Starke. We had a wonderful time here at the farm!

Clean, quiet and and beautiful

This property is set up to accommodate everyone, especially those who are physically challenged. I would recommend a step stool for accessing the bed if you are short. This was our second visit to this property. Hopefully we'll be back in 2026

One of a favorite places to stay anywhere.

We love to travel. Never hotels. Always renting people’s places. Farmhouse is a highlight every year. We come at least twice in the fall for hunting trips. Most years we visit 4-5 times. Kim has always been an amazing host and the house is clean, comfortable and has everything we need. Highly recommend if you want to disconnect from the city life.

A/C emergency help

Our A/C died in the middle of July, which is a major emergency for anyone living in Florida. Our host family worked with us to get us into the house as quickly as possible. They checked on us several times to make sure everything was okay. The house is charming and the view into in surrounding pastures is lovely. Would highly recommend!!

Cozy and clean

The farm is a wonderful home filled with all the amenities we needed. When you arrive to the property you will be greeted by a horse, some cows, and a donkey. You can see they are well taken care of. They aren’t part of the stay but it’s wonderful to come home and see them. The property is well maintained, clean, and spacious. Thank you for having us! We had a wonderful time.

Why they chose this property

This home was owned by a lovely couple for 29 years who decided to down size several years ago. After being loved by various owners we purchased this house to rent to you in hopes that you will enjoy our slice of country life as much as we do. We live right down the road and have our entire life. I think this is one of the best places on earth to see God's handiwork at its best.

What makes this property unique

This home has beautiful functional barn doors gracing it's walls. Reclaimed fence boards that are almost silver, bring the rustic barn look inside. The beautiful bathrooms with wood look ceramic tile shower surround and rain head shower take relaxing to a whole new level. My favorite room however, is the chicken room which overlooks 40 acres of pasture land sprinkled with brahman cows this room is like stepping into Grandma's house. Custom made soaps made especially for the us along with local jam made just down the road make staying with us a little extra special
