About the home
"Castaway Views" is a stunning new home with incredible water views over most of Phillip Island and the bay area's. Convienience is key here as within minutes of Phillip Island just over the bridge is easy access to Cowes and the whole of the Island and its attractions. Generally 10 mins to all corners of the Island. A great location to avoid the overcrowded times and co-ordinate your exploring of the region.
A heated swimming pool is a feature of the property and the living spaces around this pool area. Read on below for many features this lovely home boasts:
Indoor Areas
Upstairs, the large main living area opens into the well appointed kitchen. There is also access from the living room to the large covered deck with stunning water views. The Master bedroom comes with its own WIR and en-suite with a walk in shower. The second bedroom is also on this floor with its own BIR, mid point bathroom and a separate toilet for general access.
Downstairs, there are three bedrooms. These three bedrooms share a large main bathroom with bath, shower and a separate toilet. Also downstairs is the second living area with a 55' smart TV adjacent to the pool and entertaining area outside.
Outdoor Areas
The upstairs deck provides a lovely sheltered place for outdoor meals under cover. The downstairs deck leads out from the downstairs living area. The stunning electric heated in-ground swimming pool (6m x 3m x 1.4m deep) is perfect for family groups to relax. There is a double garage with a table tennis table, fuzbol table and direct access to inside the home.
Please note, the temperature of the pool water, as well as the pool heating capacity, can be affected by the ambient (outside) temperature. If you have any queries about what this may mean for your stay, please do not hesitate to contact us for advice. We do recommend keeping the pool covered between use for the best results especially during the cooler weather.
Kitchen
The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with a thorough appointment of cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, glassware and dishes. A microwave, Vittoria coffee machine (Nespresso compatible), toaster and kettle will ensure your right at home. There's a double sink, walk in pantry, large fridge, dishwasher, electric oven and gas cook top. Everything is here as you would find in a well appointed kitchen in any normal home.
Heating/Cooling Systems
Each of the main living area's have a powerful wall mounted reverse cycle air conditioner/heating capacity, pedestal fans and mobile heaters in all the bedrooms provide extra comfort if needed.

Linen
Your booking comes with all linens and towelling provided and made fresh and clean for your arrival. Tea towels, hand towels, facewashers and bath mats are all provided. Lots of extra's like soaps/shampoos and body wash adorn each room with extra conditioner in each shower.
Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies
Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. It is located within the community and neighborhood of San Remo. The home also does not take bookings from Schoolies or minors and groups under the age of 21. The home is suitable for children and infants, with stairwell baby gates provided for safety.
Security
The Broadway is in an extremely safe area, a great community of neighbors around so you'll feel free, unhindered, comfortable and safe in this area. For your security and that of your vehicles and anyone like children playing outside there are external security cameras at the home facing external areas only.
Parking
The home is well suited to 6 cars maximum. 4 can park in the driveway itself and directly to the right of the driveway (as facing the home) there is sufficient space to park 2 more vehicles, a trailer, boat or jet ski. Even a car trailer, motorhome or caravan can be kept here.
Guests have exclusive and private use of the complete property. We do use a noise monitor and a smart device to monitor numbers of guests and please ask that extra visitors must be by arrangement only.
Your visit is exclusive and private and the whole property is vacant and available, however I am always available at call, text or email (messages through the booking platform used) for local advice, assistance or help with anything around the property. I am also available to concierge and meet with you on arrival to assist with checking in and or association with the home.
We ask that a few house rules be followed which are also listed under 'House Rules'. Please do associate yourself and your guests with this overview as it is imperative to the operation of the home in this exclusive area. We invite family groups and visitors with current and previous reviews by other hosts and are very accomodating for any specific requirements.

No sand in pool or showers
No external P.A or sound systems allowed
No Smoking (permitted outside in designated area's)
No open fires unless in designed amenities such as a fire place
No unattended minors or unsupervised children to be left on the property
The games room and general loud noises are retricted from 11pm-7am Daily.
The pool pump room and setting for the pool are not acessible.
BBQ's are not to be moved and must be cleaned after use with provided acessories (or a $50 fee can apply)
Any damages to the property no matter how minor must be reported as a full careful inspection is condicted after each booking. When reported immediately often penalties or costs may not apply. This includes soiled linens or exterior damages including the pool and its condition.
