If you are an avid fisherman you have found your paradise. Waihau Bay is renowned for having some of the best fisheries in New Zealand and the boat ramp is just a 2 minute drive away. And when it's busy you have the added bonus of parking the trailer in your own concrete driveway.

The house is all yours during your stay. You can choose to socialize with the neighbors or just enjoy your quiet quaint home. The kitchen has all supplies that you will need during your stay, pots, pans fry pans and all crockery and cutlery. There is a BBQ on the deck and gas is provided.

Waihau Bay is just a small village and only has the one restaurant and a general grocery shop. Both places do outstanding takeaways and only a short stroll from the house. There is also a store at the campground about 3kms east which has a few supplies and also takeaways. There is a Liquor outlet around the back of the Hotel. Allied Petroleum is available 24/7 for your fuel needs.

Cellphone Service is very limited on the coast. 021 is available in most parts. Wi-Fi is available at the house.
