Canberra was fun, this place not so much
This house is in a good location & has the potential to be an 'executive' holiday letting but it is nowhere near that standard.
For this reason, it is a misleading description and photographs and outrageously overpriced.
The garden & lawns were overgrown. The keys were loose. The outside had not been cleaned for some time with spider webs & debris all around the doors & windows. The living area was spacious, but the furniture & arrangement of the seating area are nothing like the photograph. In fact, some of the sofa furniture was old & stained with holes (covered over with blankets). There were also multiple screens & remote controls with no instructions on what or how to use any of them. The dining area & kitchen were good, but the oven had not been cleaned for some time.
The rest of the place was spacious, comfortable & surface clean, but it was not 'executive' standard, and basic amenities, such as screens & blinds did not work.
But the worst thing was the air-con.
We were there during a Canberra heat wave and the air-con simply didn't work. I raised this with the manager but was told it was on; I said it may be on but it was not working effectively. It was oppressive especially for young children. I then received no further messages.
If you're reading this review & considering this place, I would not recommend staying there unless & until you see reviews that show the manager/owner has rectified the shortcomings to justify 'executive' and the very high price.
