A nice soothing place that we loved staying in. Stayed there with my parents (senior citizens) and a toddler and the stay was pleasant, laid back. With about 20 mins out from Tobermory, we really enjoyed staying here and enjoying some of the games (solving puzzles) with our little one.
Jaguar’s den was a great place to stay. About 20 mins from the national parks, Tobermory and Lion’s head. Property has a lot of games and beautiful backyard. The host was very responsive and accommodating.
Thank you very much for taking the time to leave a review. We're delighted to hear that you had a wonderful time at Jaguars Den. Your presence is always valued, and you are most certainly welcome here anytime! We greatly appreciate your understanding and cooperation during your stay!!
Unfortunately, we were forced to leave early and not stay at this cottage as planned due to the overall condition of the place. The cleanliness was far below expectations, and it simply wasn’t in a livable state for our family. The bathroom had significant mildew buildup, not just in the shower but also in other areas, and the issue extended into other rooms as well. There were also a lot of flies inside the cottage, which made it impossible to relax or feel comfortable. The kitchen chairs were stained and dirty, making dining there unappealing. It didn’t look like the place had been properly cleaned or maintained in quite some time. While we understand cottages can be rustic, there’s a basic standard of cleanliness and hygiene that needs to be met—especially when renting to guests. Unfortunately, this property fell short in that regard. We hope the owner takes this feedback seriously and invests in a thorough deep cleaning and some much-needed upkeep. As it stands, we would not recommend staying here unless major improvements are made.

Disliked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
