Welcome to your perfect home away from home in the heart of Vancouver. Located on the upper floor, this k Mediterranean-inspired oasis offers 3 spacious bedrooms and bathrooms, along with a fully-equipped kitchen. Relax on the outdoor south-facing balcony and soak up the sun. Ideal for large groups, this comfortable family home ensures everyone feels at ease. You'll find yourself within walking distance to parks, cafes, markets, and restaurants. There is abundant street parking.

Once you enter the large foyer, there is an internal staircase (the stairs are carpeted and soft, with a landing two thirds of the way up) going up to the home. Once you are there, the home is all on one floor, with high ceilings and skylights which give the home a great feeling of airiness and brightness. There are three bedrooms: two king bedrooms with full ensuite bath; and one queen bedroom - the third full bathroom is in the hallway. The kitchen area is a large space complete with island, fully equipped prep and cooking area, dining area and workspace and lots of natural light from the large skylight above. The living room is another large space to play, relax, stretch and lounge. There is a large balcony outside where you can dine alfresco on warm evenings. The space is also equipped with its own laundry room, downstairs.

Guests will have access to the foyer, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, kitchen, living and laundry.

This house is my father’s dream. My parents came from the island of Paros in Greece. Longing for his mediterranean home, my father built this house with the Greek islands in mind, namely the classic mansions. With marble throughout, white-washed walls and big windows to let in the sun, this is a warm and beautiful home.

If you need anything, I will be downstairs with my mother and her trusty dog, Nefeli.

Why they chose this property

My home sits on the border of the Kitsilano and Arbutus Ridge neighbourhoods of Vancouver. It has the quaintness and coolness of Kits - lots of restaurant around, markets and shopping; while also having the abundance of space that comes with Arbutus Ridge. There are lots of parks and diverse paths to talk a walk or jog - whether you're looking for fitness or a leisurely stroll.

What makes this property unique

This house was envisioned by my father who, missing Greece, decided to make this home a mediterranean villa on the Pacific. It is spacious, full of natural light from big windows and skylights, and perfect for housing a large group.

The kitchen was always busy with my mom baking and cooking up something delightful. There's an island and plenty of counter space for preparing a family meal together. The kitchen is also fully equipped with whatever you may need: olive oil, salt pepper and spices are provided, as well as other small appliances such as rice cooker or blender. There is also an LG stove and oven range and large double door LG fridge.

The living area is large and comfortable, which direct access to the balcony. There are some cool furniture pieces from my parent's heyday, but almost everything else you'll find, from beds to sofa are new. The bathrooms have also been recently renovated.

After a long day, guests can retire to their privacy in one of three bedrooms. The bedrooms are very spacious and feature TWO king beds and one queen bed.

If your group needs to do laundry, there is a large capacity Samsung washer and dryer for your exclusive use.
