The place was so clean and welcoming. The little touches like the beautiful glass tray in the master bath and the nice antique pieces were so nice.

This was my first time booking something other than a hotel. It was clean. Everything was just like the pictures. Very comfortable and it felt like a home away from home. We loved it. Will be coming back.

Comfortable place to stay for a short getaway. We didn’t do any cooking but the kitchen was adequately equipped with things you would need to cook. Good for a couple or small group.

The property is compact but roomy. The wifi was excellent and the heat (as it was around 40 at night) was great.

This house was great for our family. The kitchen was well equipped with all we needed. The house was set up nicely. The front deck and sitting area were perfect for morning coffee or evening wine. Watching all the deer was an added treat! Great location to get to the river or pool.

The front deck is definitely a favorite spot for many guests, and those deer sightings make it even more special. We’re glad the location worked out perfectly for your river and pool plans. We spent most of our time in Wimberley but also went to Gruene and Sattler for a day. 10 minutes from town and ~40 minutes to Gruene. The private beach with the rope swing and deep waters was a wonderful addition. Plenty of amidites and cozy outdoor seating areas we were able to sit and visit in. We would book a stay here again no question.
Overall was a clean place in the middle of all Hill Country attractions. I pointed out a few things that were broken when we checked in...hopefully they will make them right.

Thank you for your review. We will be addressing the items you mentioned with our maintenance team to ensure a better experience for future guests!
We were overall very happy with our stay. It takes a little longer than you would think to get from the property to Wimberley center because the River Road is not very well maintained and there are NO lights on the road at night. But the house was great, and communication was great the few times we needed to contact someone.

Girls trip
The location to Wimberley, the river and other areas we wanted to see was fantastic. For a basic stay where you are gone more than you are at the house, this is a good place. A few things were disappointing about our stay; wasp in the house, the thermostat was set to 61 and we woke up to a very cold house daily, the outdoors was not cleaned up, many items were broken or not put together and felt unkept and not cleaned up in preparation for guest. Still enjoyed our time in hill country.

Thank you for your feedback and for highlighting the great location of the property. We’re happy to hear you enjoyed your time in the Hill Country! We do apologize for the issues you encountered during your stay, including the wasp, thermostat, and outdoor cleanup. This is certainly not the experience we aim to provide, and we appreciate you bringing these matters to our attention. We will make sure to address them right away to ensure future guests have a more comfortable stay. We’d love to welcome you back for another visit and ensure everything is in top condition next time!
We knew we wouldn’t be at the home much during this stay so we went with a cheaper property and essentially got what we paid for. It was a good place for accessing the deepest part of the blanco river where there’s a cool tree swing for the kids. It provided a decent place to sleep for the night but the home also came with some issues: main toilet didn’t work, found a cockroach, lots of barking dogs next door, and plastic-y mattress covers that made the bed hot and crumply sounding. Also all the lights are a harsh cheap LED that’s not cozy at all. I’m glad we weren’t there much, all told. But it got the job done and the rental property staff were very responsive.

These are not the experiences we want for our guests, and we appreciate you bringing them to our attention so we can address them moving forward. We also appreciate your understanding that our team was responsive to your needs. We’re always looking to improve, and your feedback helps us do just that. We hope to provide a more comfortable experience should you choose to stay with us again in the future.
Girl trip for 4 retired ladies celebrating life. Good location and access to the river. Long driveway which allows for multiple cars. Even had an awning for one vehicle. We were here right at the end of the winter and the yard did need a little TLC because of fallen limbs, uncut shrubs, and shrub debris. Decent size kitchen with breakfast table seating 4. We did have to report the chairs needed replacement because they were falling apart but the property manager responded immediately indicating the homeowner would be notified. Three decent size bedrooms and bathrooms but bring your toiletries. Only hand soap was provided. A safety bar would be nice in the bathtub. Overall, it was ok.
