About this property

River/ wooden hottub Hobbit's cabin in the wood!

New fall 2023!!! In Saguenay, Exode en Nature offers accommodation facing a majestic river, surrounded by lush vegetation! Come relax and enjoy all the amenities offered by Sumac, the mini Hobbit house facing a magnificent river with a private wood-heated Nordic bath! Around the accommodations: Hiking and outdoor activities, fishing, Tadoussac, kayaking and other water sports and more! Camping Quebec # 627793

Come and be lulled by the sound of the river in this calm and pleasant place! The Sumac has two queen beds, one of which is on a mezzanine accessible by a ladder. By this same ladder is accessible a superb catamaran net which is installed for exceptional moments of relaxation and reading! A quiet, peaceful and rejuvenating place, La Sumac will be perfect for a loving couple or a small family since there are 2 queen beds and there is the possibility of sleeping up to 6 guests since there is a sofa- bed but the tiny house is not suitable for 4 adults, ideally a family. The accommodation is not suitable for young children and babies.

This mini Hobbit house has a well-equipped kitchen including 2 propane rings as well as a small refrigerator including a freezer. You will have access to all the utensils, cutlery, plates, fondue set, cooking bowls to prepare a meal of choice. A barbecue is also available for your grilling. In the morning, you can enjoy an excellent coffee thanks to a Nespresso machine. (One Nespresso pods per day per adult is included) The Sumac also contains a complete bathroom with a shower and luxurious compostable toilet. The 288 square foot tiny-house includes linens, towels and washcloths for the shower. Being an eco-friendly accommodation, dish soap, shampoo, body and hand soap are provided during the rental! We use ecological products ''Pure'' and ''Oneka'' including safe ingredients for health. At nightfall, more than 800 feet of soft lights will accompany your steps on the trail... everything that is most romantic!

Dogs are allowed on a leash. (Less than 50 lbs) You must provide a cage and the bowls necessary for their well-being. You cannot leave the dog alone in the house during your absence, it must be in a cage or with you. You will have to walk 150 feet from the parking lot to your home. The accommodation is non-smoking. For each accommodation at Exode en Nature, you will have access to 2 parking spaces. There is no television in the accommodation but you will have access to the internet to stay connected, even when working from home. The wood-heated spa is open during all seasons for an exceptional experience!

The private Nordic bath is a two-step process: heating the bath water using a wood fire to the sound of the river surrounded by nature. Since this step takes several hours in winter, you may only be able to enjoy a hot Nordic bath on the second day of your stay, but the wait is worth it, it's magical! The smell of burning wood, the cedar of the hot tub, the river, nature... it's perfect! However, we do not guarantee you an optimal temperature during extreme cold and therefore you may not be able to take advantage of it if the temperature is not mild. Above -20C, it is very likely that you will not be able to take advantage of it. Please allow around 5 to 6 hours of heating the first day. Subsequently, the temperature will be reached more quickly for the rest of your stay! During the summer, if an outdoor fire ban was put in place in Saguenay due to the risk of forest fires, the Nordic bath could not be used but in this heat, a swim in the river will be even more appreciated!

Arrival time at your accommodation is between 4:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.

Being in the middle of the forest, there is always the possibility of coming across wild animals or insects or other vermin, this is completely normal and has nothing to do with cleaning the accommodation. Since you are surrounded by nature, please close the doors carefully so as not to let small critters in.
