Quick Beach Getaway

My wife and I extended our stay in Florida after a conference and found this gem on the beach. Overall it was a great stay. I am all for technology, but the property relied heavily on their app. From retrieving your car from the valet to putting a request in for housekeeping. When we arrived at 8:00 pm we had one towel total, no soaps (body wash, shampoo, etc.), and no remote control for the TV. There were no phones in the room. So I put a request through the live chat app and was told they would get it taken care of. After waiting an hour or so I went to the front desk and asked for these items. The employee at the front desk said they would be right up. After another hour I reached out through the app and asked for an ETA so I would know whether to wait up or go to bed. The person on chat says “We have 12 hours to fulfill your request. Good night” Needless to say this response was disheartening. The next morning still did not have the items requested so I went back down and the employee was more than happy to to get us towels and some soap. We finally received the TV remote the night before we left, but you are in Flordia on the beach so who needs to watch TV? The staff onsite was extremely helpful and polite. We will definitely be staying again!
