Great Family Reunion

This was a wonderful home for our family reunion. Adults, teenagers, and children enjoyed the beautiful home, the thoughtful design and amenities and the hospitality of our hosts. Turnerville is tucked away from the crowds, and gave us an appreciation for nature's beauty. Home and grounds well maintained.

Perfect Thanksgiving stay!

My husband used to visit star valley when he was a boy. We came back for thanksgiving, got to see all the places he had great memories of. This house was perfect for us. We had a great time, got some snow and felt like we started the holidays!!

Turnerville Sled cabin

worked out great for our sledding group of 10. Excellent space for parking trucks and trailers. five bathrooms made mornings a breeze.

Amazing property with views out of magazine!

Beautiful

Complete bliss My son called it “home away from home.” We loved everything about it. The hot tub was a hit between all the guests. The river and views created a relaxing environment. The host was so kind and even lent us some sleds he had.

Amazing Place!!! Seriously!!!

OMG this place is off the charts! Turnerville is beautiful and this place helps bring out the beauty. It’s like this place was built to be lived in by the owners and not be a rental. It’s a very quiet and serene location, close to the best snowmobiling. Super spacious, super comfortable, GREAT mattresses, and super clean. We will be coming back in the summer for sure.

Slice of heaven!

Such an unbelievable stay at the Bunkhouse! The setting is unreal and the home is beyond comfortable and well-appointed. There is such incredible attention to detail at every turn. We spent so much time on the deck, around the fire pit, and in the stream. Perfect for kiddos to explore and adults to disconnect and enjoy nature. We will absolutely be back! Thank you!

You won’t be disappointed!

This is a beautiful, clean, well appointed, comfortable cabin. Gorgeous views, within an hour of any activities you might want to plan, and lots of space to explore. The kitchen has everything you’ll need to stay in and cook, or you can go into town to eat. Lots of space to spread out in the house and have your own space if you need. The owners made sure the roads were well plowed as we stayed in the winter and got lots of snow! Never a problem to get in and out…We loved our stay at the bunkhouse and plan to return in the future!

Absolutely Gorgeous and So Peaceful

We had the most incredible experience at the Bunkhouse, from the communication preparing to arrive to checking out. We felt so taken care of, and no detail was missed. The property has breathtaking views, and the sound of the rolling water in the stream right off the porch offers such a peaceful retreat. We even had the opportunity to witness a moose come up near the bunkhouse, and experiencing nature up close was spectacular.The home is not only gorgeous in the detailed interior design choices that feel so luxurious, but also the functional use of the space to very comfortably fit many adults without feeling like we were on top of each other in any way. We enjoyed gathering for homemade meals together, and then would get cozy by fireplace and blankets in the evening. It was perfect! There was such a comforting and relaxing spirit about the home.We absolutely loved having the owners on the property. Their home is 500 yards away and it feels like you're in your own secluded space. But we'd go on walks daily and occasionally visit with them as we passed by their home. They are such good people and a delight to be around! The property manager was so easy to text and communicate with, and she made she that we were completely taken care of the whole time. We can't wait to come back again and stay longer next time!

Interesting situation with no business owning a STR in the cold.

We were supposed to stay at the bunkhouse, however the day of our stay I was informed by the prop mgr that the pipes froze and there was no water. As 10 adults were flying in from all over the country and we booked this trip 3 months prior, we were very bummed to find out that the house was not usable. The mgr was super nice and found us another place around the corner. It was a beautiful home too. It just did not have a hot tub, this was a deal breaker when choosing a home since we were there to snowmobile for days and are all over 50 and have bad bodies. But we obliged and were grateful that they had somewhere to put us. Then the craziness began… the bunkhouse owners told us they were not going to pay the difference in costs between the 2 homes since the new place was so much more expensive. We did not choose to be there, we were told to go there. Then we were added in on email communication between both owners and managers. We are just the guests, I should have zero part in that. It was days worth of emails and phone calls to have this resolved. The business decisions on the bunkhouse were extremely poor first off, you own a house in the snow when it is below freezing most of the winter, the pipes shouldn’t have froze. That is a them problem, not a me problem. This is an annual trip that we do yearly and we were looking for a place we could come back to year after year, but having a trip planned and not knowing if we will be able to stay at the house is not my idea of fun.

We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:- We’re truly sorry things didn’t go as planned with your stay at The Bunkhouse on Willow Creek. We completely understand your disappointment, and we appreciate you recognizing Sandi’s quick efforts to secure alternative accommodations.- Unfortunately, the water issue turned out to be a mechanical failure, not frozen pipes, and while we always prepare for extreme weather, this was an unexpected fluke. As for the hot tub, we did extend an invitation for your group to use ours, but we never heard back.- Regarding the cost difference, we assured you we would cover it, and after negotiations, we did exactly that. We also agree that you should not have been included in any owner-to-owner discussions, and we regret that the owner of the other property included you in our communication.We take great pride in our property and guest experience, and while we regret this trip didn’t go as planned, we’d love the opportunity to host you again in the future.
