About this property
Camino Ranchito- Bodega House I Hot tub, Stars, Families
Welcome to Bodega House at Camino Ranchito—a vibrant and soulful escape nestled in the rolling hills of Wimberley, Texas. This one-of-a-kind four-bedroom, two-bathroom home is part of a private Hill Country retreat that artfully blends rustic charm with modern sophistication. Designed for those who crave connection—with nature, with loved ones, and with a slower pace of life—Bodega House offers the perfect balance of tranquility and style for couples, families, and groups of friends.
Step inside and be transported to a space inspired by the colorful courtyards of San Miguel de Allende, layered with textures of reclaimed wood, custom artisan pieces, and contemporary comforts. The open-concept kitchen, dining, and great room form the heart of the home, where conversation flows as easily as the coffee from the drip machine in the well-stocked kitchen. With a full-size refrigerator, electric oven and range, microwave, and dishwasher, the kitchen is as practical as it is inviting. The dining table seats up to eight, ideal for shared meals and laughter-filled evenings.
The great room invites you to sink into a plush sofa with chaise or kick back in the cozy accent chair—whether you’re streaming something on your device with the included WiFi or just enjoying good company. Just beyond, a charming sitting room offers two comfortable chairs, an impressive wall of books, and curious artifacts that give the space its distinctive personality.
Each bedroom is its own retreat. The primary suite features a plush king bed, a serene club chair, and a carved armoire, along with private access to a stone-covered patio perfect for morning coffee or evening wine. The nearby bathroom is a standout with its zero-ledge walk-in shower, stainless steel vanity top, Talavera-style sink bowl, and rustic reclaimed wood elements.
Bedrooms 2 and 3 each offer queen beds, cozy seating, and a blend of antique doors, textured finishes, and reclaimed wood that whisper stories of old Mexico. Bedroom 4 is a whimsical haven for kids or the young at heart, with two custom twin-over-twin bunk beds (sleeping up to four), a comfy reading nook, and a dedicated desk area for remote work or creativity. A second bathroom, just as thoughtfully designed as the first, serves these rooms with another zero-ledge shower and matching custom vanity.
Outside, Bodega House truly shines. Lounge in the private heated cowboy pool, tucked into a sun-kissed deck with Adirondack chairs. Dine al fresco at one of several outdoor tables, chat under the detached covered alcove, or retreat to the secluded meditation garden, enclosed by stone walls and perfect for peaceful reflection. A unique outdoor shower and a swing of birdsong make every moment outside a sensory experience.
From the covered front porch to the private patio off the primary bedroom, every corner of this property has been designed for comfort, style, and the freedom to just be.
Guests of Bodega House have exclusive use of their outdoor areas, but the property also hosts two other beautiful units—The Rock House and Casa Sasa—which can be rented together for larger gatherings. For full privacy and space, the entire Camino Ranchito estate is available for private group bookings.
Just a note for guests: Bodega House shares a wall with the property’s communal dining hall, which is attached but has its own private exterior entrance. This separate space is accessible to all guests staying at Camino Ranchito and features two large dining tables and a serving area—perfect for hosting larger meals or gathering as a group. While connected structurally, it is completely private from the interior of Bodega House and does not share any indoor access.
Tucked into a quiet, family-friendly community in a designated Dark Sky area, Bodega House is perfect for stargazing and wildlife watching. Keep your eyes peeled for white-tailed deer, foxes, and the many birds that call this magical pocket of the Hill Country home. Just a short drive to the Wimberley Square, Market Days, and the charming town of Blanco, the location is ideal for exploring the best of Central Texas.
Come stay a while. Whether you’re unwinding by the pool, finding your Zen in the garden, or reconnecting over a home-cooked meal, Bodega House invites you to slow down, savor the moment, and fall in love with the rhythm of the Hill Country.
