Good location but poor customer service

Location of the apartment is good with good amenities in easy walking distance. The view to the lake is a nice thing as well. The negative was the apartment was not clean, sheets were not changed, linen not provided as promised. There was still clothes in the dryer, used dishes lying around and wet towels hanging on the balcony. Also, the main bedroom has no window/ventilation and no fan/AC. Very difficult to sleep in summer on a 29degree day. Property manager is difficult to contact and does not respond until hours later. As a tourist, the last thing you need is an unclean apartment and a manager that you cannot contact. Very bad experience for a first trip to Canberra.

Dissapointing

Not a good start when the key pick up information was incorrect. The bed was the hardest I have ever encountered and the blankets in the wardrobe were dirty and smelly, lipstick marks on wine glasses, oven trays greasy, oven door full of crumbs. Not one dessert or soup spoon in the cutlery drawer. Couldn't find a way to get the roller blinds in bedrooms up and down. No instructions for oven, microwave etc. No free to air tv channels, only u tube. Furniture was old and plastic/tin... very cheap and nasty. The only positive was the location, having all shopping very close.
