We had a great stay overall and would definitely recommend this place, especially for the value. The host was very responsive, kind, and accommodating, even with our last-minute booking, which we really appreciated. The location was great, easy to get to, and parking was simple. We also loved the outdoor space — the patio and yard were a really nice touch. The heated bathroom floors were a standout feature as well. The main reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the cleanliness could have been a bit better. Nothing major, but we noticed some dog hair, the fridge could have been wiped down, and a few pillows didn’t seem fully clean (though there’s a chance they were just stained). We ended up washing the pillowcases ourselves to be safe — there was detergent available, which we appreciated.A small suggestion for improvement would be adding a simple welcome guide with instructions for things like the heating/AC systems and bathroom floor heat. We also ran into a couple of remotes with dead batteries, which made things a bit confusing at first. We figured it out, but clearer instructions or spare batteries would make the experience smoother. One other thing to note is that seating is a bit limited for the size of the space. It worked fine for our group of six, but it might be tricky if you’re planning a full sit-down meal together.Overall, we felt like it was a great deal for the price and had a really enjoyable stay — just a few small things that could make it even bett

We were 4 couples who stayed a week - house well located, huge and beautiful but had concerns. 2 “queen beds” had large bed frames but much smaller mattresses placed on top. 1 was downsloping so you had to angle yourself on it. 1 bedframe was broken. 3 bathroom sinks weren’t draining properly. In-floor heating in one master bathroom didn’t work - tile flooring very cold. Window in 1 bedroom wouldn’t close - (5 degrees outside). House not equipped for capacity it advertises (10). Only 4 dining room chairs - supplied 2 more when we requested a few weeks before our arrival, but they were used bar table chairs - not useable at standard height table supplied - one had springs visibly poking through the bottom. 4 drinking glasses - the rest were wine glasses and mason jars. Room for 3 on the couch and 1 in a chair in the livingroom - the other option was a large ? dog bed on the floor. 2 rolls of toilet paper when we arrived - had to buy more on arrival (we were reimbursed) - no paper towel or Kleenex. Coffee maker brews 1 cup at a time - had to clean it and buy beans. Lack of towels / facecloths in bathrooms - one old towel had numerous brown stains - advised owner who sent a WalMart order but still no facecloths. At arrival - loose garbage at the end of the driveway - advised owner who indicated the cleaners would deal with it “next time they were there”. No instructions on how to operate any of the devices in the home. Weren’t advised there were tenants in bsmt.
