About this property

Holiday Bliss - The Kiwi Suite

After 23 years of living in Paradise, Carmen and David (your hosts) are excited to be able to share it with you.

This stunning guest house is situated on a beautifully treed farm, in the heart of the Waikato. It boasts a romantic, old-fashioned and cosy ambience. It is the perfect getaway for all - honeymooners to holiday-makers.

One of the most special additions to this homestay is the fresh water cedar and stainless steel hot tub! We also provide a gourmet breakfast ready to be cooked.

The space:
This suite has a delightful four-poster King bed dressed in luxury linen. It is just stunning!

The bathroom has a French theme. Along one side sits a deep cast-iron bath, and along the other side is a large shower with a rain shower head that soaks you in hot water. The bathroom even has a chandelier to look up to.

The kitchen has been hand put together with steel cabinetry, and matai benches. A large island that once was a bakers table has been repurposed.

In the lounge area, there is a French fireplace, making this the place for a romantic evening together.

I like to call this the Honeymoon Suite. I do hope we'll get honeymooners staying as this was my dream for this unit.

This unit is one (of two) semi-detached units with its own private parking, outdoor, and hot tub areas.

Guest access:
Guests will have their own covered carport connected to the homestay.

Other things to note:
Tirau is the perfect place for your getaway. There is an abundance of cute coffee shops, boutique clothes, furniture, and everything in-between. Situated close to many attractions and cities, Tirau is the perfect location to use as the base for your holiday.

We are close to Lake Karapiro, Te Waihou Walkway, Takapoto Estate, the Waikato River Trails, Wairere Falls, and Hobbiton.

Tauranga, Rotorua, Hamilton, and Taupo are all in close proximity.

We are happy to host day trips to local attractions in our boat. We can also offer bike hire and kayak hire on request. This can be arranged directly with the hosts.
