Waurra—A Cosy Moana Beach Getaway

You’ll feel right at home the moment you arrive at the peaceful ‘Waurra’, perfectly located less than a five-minute stroll from Moana Beach. This modern, self-contained stay offers comfort and convenience, with a kitchen to prepare light meals and secure driveway parking. Take a dip in the ocean, stop in for coffee at local favourite Deep Blue Cafe, and enjoy a hearty meal at the surf club before taking the short walk back to your stay to settle in with a movie on the sofa.
This welcoming, recently built stay is neatly appointed with all the essentials needed for a comfortable and convenient base while you discover Moana and its stunning surroundings. Located on the second floor of a tidy and modern home, a private entrance takes guests up to a cosy, open-plan dining and living space. You will enjoy exclusive use of the upper-floor guesthouse, while the owners reside separately downstairs. Yvonne and John take great pleasure in hosting guests, so feel free to say hello whenever you encounter them outside, or ask them about directions and places to visit.

Make use of the kitchen to prepare light meals before packing a picnic and heading over to the beach, or bring home a bottle of award-winning South Australian wine and some gourmet cheese to enjoy in the shared backyard. A small front verandah has a bench seat where you can sip your morning coffee or relax with an afternoon glass of wine. In the living area, a sofa and two armchairs offer a comfy spot to kick back with a movie on the wall-mounted TV, while reverse-cycle air-conditioning will keep everyone comfortable year-round.

Two bedrooms accommodate four guests, with the main bedroom featuring a queen-size bed and a wall-mounted TV and the second bedroom including two singles. In the immaculately presented bathroom, you will find complimentary toiletries and a bathtub for a leisurely soak.

Other conveniences include Wi-Fi, shared laundry facilities including a washing machine and dryer, and secure parking on the driveway, plus additional spots off the road in front of the property.

Moana Beach is just 200m away, where you can enjoy a morning dip before grabbing a coffee and taking a stroll along the sand. Deep Blue Cafe is just around the corner, where the pizzas are a local favourite, and you’ll also find the surf club, Moana SLSC, a few minutes’ walk from your stay.

Seaford Central Shopping Centre is just a few minutes’ drive, offering all the essentials including a supermarket, chemist, banking services and a range of eateries and takeaway options.

Spend an afternoon in the vineyards enjoying award-winning wine in the renowned McLaren Vale region, around 10 minutes’ drive away, where you can also cycle the Shiraz Trail and view the beautiful d'Arenberg Cube.
