Great Place To Stay
Great house in a great location. We had 5 adults and 3 small children and there was plenty of room for a holiday gathering. Easy walk to parks, nice & quiet neighborhood. Clean house with everything you need.
Our family and extended family were welcomed to this beautiful large home. Enjoyed the extra room to sit and visit. Quiet neighborhood but yet centrally located and able to get around town quickly! Hosts checked in to ensure we were comfortable. Definitely will be back!

Not for us
The house was clean, and the host was nice. But the house is definitely showing its age (wall cracks, broken floors, and an over eager toilet).

Hi Melissa, we want our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we were disappointed to hear you were not satisfied.
Our home is 130-plus years old but we have maintained the house so that it is still in very good shape. We make sure everything is in good working order and for as old as it is it's in better shape than a lot of the newly built homes that are available as rentals.
We truly go above and beyond for our guests, and we are confident that future guests will have excellent stays!

Nice roomy houseWell stocked kitchenGreat locationConvenient check in and outBut house smelled mustyToilet was brokenFloors were not clean on porch and was pretty beat upCouch cushions were aged and uncomfortable Doors were creakyPlace has lot of potential if they clean it up and spruce up the floors and furniture and get central heating and cooling
This charming, old home is located in a quiet neighborhood, yet surprisingly close, walking distance, in fact, to downtown and the university. The kitchen and bathrooms have everything you may need. We treated ourselves to an afternoon tea in the dining room, making use of the antique tea set. In my experience, all rentals have a drawback or two. In this case, the worst of it was that we found mouse scat in one of the bathrooms and on the kitchen counter on the 4th morning of our stay. The owner stated she had set traps in the past and offered to come over to clean up and set more traps. As the day went on, we found more scat on the stairs and under the sink. I followed up with the owner after we checked out and I have no doubt she is doing something to remedy this problem.
