About the host
Hosted by Sandra Freeman
Our family lives in Kitchener and we vacation at our cottage when we don't have it rented. We are also lovers of travel on this continent and abroad and have stayed in rental spaces in a variety places, the US, Italy, England etc. so we know the value of finding a gem of a place to stay and a great host. We hope we bring that experience to you.
Why they chose this property
Our family has spent a number of years vacationing in Point Clark. We love the quiet, calm surroundings; the beach at the lighthouse has a great shallow entrance that goes on, seemingly, forever; there is a park and washrooms right there at the beach. So, we decided to buy a cottage and then thought, lets share it when we can't be there. We have always loved Point Clark and have friends/relatives there so we appreciate the value of this small, commerce free, community where people drive slowly, everyone waves and life is renewed on that beautiful beach.
What makes this property unique
Our cottage/home is owner built in 2009 with lots of love and extras added. It is fully furnished and very comfortable inside and out. The bedrooms are tucked away so the kids are able to sleep while the parents can enjoy the living space both inside and out. We are on a very quiet crescent and have a large yard so, lots of privacy. We have permanent residents all around us so, the area is very well kept and very home like. The community is so welcoming and laid back you feel the calm as you drive into Point Clark. There are lots of amenities all around us and we have them listed in the Welcome binder for you and we will send the list to you so you can open links, explore and plan ahead if you like.
