About this property
River/ Wooden Hottub Dome in Nature
New for Winter 2024!!!!In Saguenay, Exode en Nature offers accommodations facing a majestic river, surrounded by lush vegetation! Come relax and enjoy all the amenities offered by La Thuya, a majestic dome facing a magnificent river with a private wood-heated Nordic bath! Around the accommodations: hiking and outdoor activities, fishing, Tadoussac, kayaking and other water sports and much more! Camping Québec.
Come and be lulled to sleep by the sound of the river in this calm and pleasant setting! The La Thuya dome features a queen-size bed on a mezzanine accessible by ladder. Quiet, peaceful and rejuvenating, the dome is perfect for a couple or a small family, as it has a sofa bed but is not suitable for 4 adults. The accommodation is not suitable for young children or babies. This forest cabin has a well-equipped kitchen with 2 propane rings and a small fridge with freezer. You'll have access to all the utensils, cutlery, plates, fondue set and cooking bowls you need to concoct a meal of choice. A barbecue is also available for grilling. In the mornings, you can enjoy excellent coffee from a Nespresso machine (one Nespresso capsule per adult per day is included). La Thuya also contains a full bathroom with a luxurious compostable shower and toilet. The 304-square-foot micro-house includes linens, towels and washcloths for the shower. As an eco-friendly accommodation, dish soap, shampoo, body soap and hand soap are provided when you rent! We use "Pure" and "Oneka" ecological products containing ingredients that are safe for your health. As night falls, more than 800 feet of dimmed lights will accompany your steps along the trail... the most romantic way to walk along the river!
You will have to walk 800 feet from the parking lot to your home. Accommodation is non-smoking. For each accommodation at Exode en Nature, you will have access to 2 parking spaces. There's no TV in the accommodations, but you'll have access to the Internet so you can stay connected, even when telecommuting.
The wood-fired spa is open year-round for an exceptional experience! The private Nordic bath is a two-step process: heating the bath water over a wood fire to the sound of the river in the middle of nature. If you can't build a fire, you may not be able to take full advantage of our facilities! Since this step takes several hours in winter, it's possible that you won't be able to enjoy a hot Nordic bath until the second day of your stay, but it's worth the wait - it's magical! The smell of burning wood, the cedar of the Nordic bath, the river, nature... it's perfect! However, we can't guarantee an optimal temperature during the coldest weather, so you may not be able to enjoy it if the temperature isn't mild. Above -20C, there's a good chance you won't be able to take advantage of it. Please allow around 5 to 6 hours of heating on the first day. After that, the temperature will be reached more quickly for the rest of your stay! During the summer, if an outdoor fire ban were in place in the Saguenay due to the risk of forest fires, the Nordic bath could not be used, but in this heat, a swim in the river will be even more appreciated!
Arrival time at your accommodation is between 16:00 and 21:00.
As we're in the middle of the forest, there's always the possibility of coming across wild animals, insects or other vermin. This is perfectly normal and has nothing to do with the cleaning of the accommodation. Since you're in the middle of nature, please make sure you close the doors to keep the little critters out.
