Came with friends to experience Old Town and historic district on Ga/Fla weekend. Great house and very comfortable. Walking distance or short drive to everything we needed.
Lovely, well appointed home in great location. My family enjoyed our stay. Beds are comfortable. Fire pit and grill were excellent amenities. Location is very walkable.
The house in in the heart of one of St Augustine's historic neighborhoods close to shops and restaurants. The house was clean and well maintained. My family loved it. We had a great time.
We enjoyed staying at this property to celebrate my mother-in-law’s 80th birthday. The house was extremely clean, and the furniture and beds were very comfortable. The house is in a great location and has a beautiful backyard. We enjoyed drinking coffee together on the front porch in the mornings before we started our day of exploration. We would definitely book here again!
My sibs and spouses got together in February at The Auggie. We are all very senior citizens and wanted an interesting, warm location. St. Augustine fit the bill and The Auggie accommodated us very well. We cooked four of six nights in the well-equipped kitchen. We played a lot of bridge on the screened in front porch. It had the best table for that and most of us ended up enjoying the front porch even more than the back deck. All the essentials were provided. The St. Augustine beach was wonderful. The Castillo de San Marco was a good place to visit, even though a couple of us had been there before. I highly recommend The Auggie.
This home was perfectly located within the St Augustine historic district. Communication with owner was great, any question we had when we arrived were answered immediately. The home was decorated beautifully for the holidays and it had all the amenities we needed. The games, putting green, and shuffle board made for a really enjoyable time with the family when we weren’t exploring the town. Great place to stay will stay here again on next visit.
Our family of six stayed at the house and had a wonderful experience. The house was recently renovated and had everything we needed. We loved that they thought of everything-from a pack and play and kids books, to games and maps of the area. Our kids loved the putting green and how the area lit up at night. We walked everywhere and felt very safe. We will definitely pass this listing along to friends and family!
We checked out of the Auggie today and I am already missing her. It’s summer in FL and it is hot. The house was so cool inside- something that is important this time of year. AC worked great, even upstairs. The house is so nicely remodeled but they kept the old details and charm. The beds were comfortable and they provided lots of pillows (important in this family). The kitchen dishes and silverware were clean and plentiful. The wine glasses were real glass and the necessities were there (soaps. trash bags. sponges. salt pepper). We had 2 cars that fit in the driveway off the street. It rained every night we were there so we didn’t get to use the back yard much/ but on a cool winter night/ it would be amazing to sit out there. Instead, we sat on the front screened in porch and watched the storm. Perfect night for us. The location can’t be beat. You can walk to the coffee shops and antique store and also ice cream. I have stayed in St Augustine uptown many times and this house was one of my favorites. Until next time, Auggie!
Loved this place! Had everything we needed for a great girlfriend reunion. Close to downtown and very walkable. Would totally recommend and plan on coming back!
