Great location, beds were broken and not fixed

The property is well kept, comfortable and in a fabulous location for all things Manly. We had a great stay but there was an issue with the two single beds. When we arrived we noticed that one bed was broken and it was quickly attended to by the maintenance person, however it was still very wobbly and uncomfortable to sleep in. In the middle of the first night, the second bed completely collapsed and could not be slept in for the remainder of our trip, which meant that we had a teenager on a mattress on the floor in the lounge room. This impinged on our stay as the loungeroom isn't overly large and we spent four days dodging the mattress in the middle of the floor. The property manager was notified, photos sent and despite several attempts to contact her to discuss our disappointment there has been no response or acknowledgement. A frustrating stay as we didn't get what we paid for in terms of sleeping arrangements. The bathroom and toilet are also in need of renovation (hence no photos on the listing).

Nightmare Experience at Kangaroo Corner

. DO NOT BOOK THROUGH THIS COMPANY. Our experience was a nightmare. Kitchen bowl to flush human waste, heat of summer winter doona, one t'towel 1 bin liner. Squeeky beds every time you turned, no response from daily complaints. Though we cancelled extention of stay in time, it was ignored as only answering service available. Not for anyone with mobility issues

No lift/elevator and lots of steps. Not an easy walk to Beach or wharf for people who have any walking issues. We had our mother who is 80 so this place was impossible for her. Supplies were not well stocked ie toilet paper, paper towels dishwasher tabs. No great instructions and didn’t get check in until day of
