Greeted by a welcoming living room w/ fireplace and a dining room w/ window seat & easy access to the kitchen featuring tainless appliances and double oven 6 burner stove. Kitchen door unfolds to an entertaining deck. Have a summer BBQ that extends downstairs into the backyard & garden.

Upper unit is 4br / 2ba. Full size kitchen and living room. The lower unit of this duplex has a private entrance to the 2br, 1 ba, living room, lower levrel unit. Easy access to the upper unit via the deck stairs. There is no direct indoor access between the units. This arrangement is perfect when traveling with large family or work groups, but needing a private retreat.

This is our fourth stay in Carr Place. Seth is immediately responsive, the place is spotless, easy to get places, well equipped kitchen (we do our own cooking). Just needs one extra recycle bin!

comfortable and positive

We had a wonderful time in your comfortable, modern, warm, appealing home. It did take us a day or so to figure out the heating system and to get the house to cool down. We did not use the kitchen to cook in, but it seems that it would have been very easy and was very spacious. I really liked how quiet it was and how peaceful it was going out onto the roof. Plenty of amenities and "creature comforts" were supplied which provided a very nice touch.

House was clean, had all the amenities and was in good location to see Seattle and surrounding areas. We commuted to downtown and took approx. 15 minutes depending on traffic. We needed three bedrooms and three bath. So if you need separate spaces this is a good spot. Check-in was a little late for our liking (5pm) but we managed. Parking is also a bit of an issue as driveway has severe decline into house and unless you drive a truck your car will bottom-out. Overall it suited us well and we found a parking spot in front of the house on most opportunities.

Great location

This is a great place. The location is just a short way to downtown. Views from the roof were amazing- space needle, downtown, we even watched the gas works park fireworks from the deck. The house is comfortable and had all the basics. The big downside for us was no air conditioning. It may not be common in the northwest but when it’s 85+ degrees in the house it’s very hard to be comfortable. Probably not an issue most of the year but if you are going in the summer know this as the description should be updated to call this out. Check in process could be easier if they used the system vs leaving it to chance of an e-mail being stuck in a spam inbox. Def a 5 star house most times of the year or if they added a/c for us.

Carr Place

This is our second time staying at Carr Place. The home is always spotless and in excellent condition. Seth is prompt to respond to any issue or need. The location is great, easy to get to downtown and attractions, freeways etc. We will be back.

This is a fantastic location, quiet neighborhood and beautiful home. Lots of steps to the roof/bbq/view but so worth it! The bathrooms were well stocked with good hair/skin care products. Beds were super comfortable. We'd love to stay here again - we were moving our student into housing at UW. Again - the location was great with a short commute to campus.

Family vacation with adult children

The house was perfect for our needs. Plenty of privacy with very comfortable bedrooms/bathrooms on different floors. The common living spaces are bright and thoughtfully furnished with room for everyone. The kitchen is well provisioned for cooking, but there are many nearby restaurants. A great location to explore Seattle! We hope to return.

Wallingford comfort

Seth has a delightful home, well maintained, spotless, well equipped kitchen for those who like to cook. He's easy to communicate with and very responsive. Easily located to good highway access, grocery etc. The driveway is steep/garage is small, as he indicated. If you're driving get the smallest car you can fit in comfortably so it will fit in the garage, although we found good on-street parking, but that is not always the case in Seattle. We had a small SUV and it was still tight. Complimentary Amazon and Netflix was a nice addition, but streaming from your own device is a bit complicated. Otherwise, five stars!

Cool and distinctive modern home with comfortable amenities and a glorious view roof deck. Great walkable location, while still being on a residential treat. Mid-size garage and parking pad make parking a breeze. Nice kitchen too - with gas range and plenty of counter space. Thanks to the host for being so responsive to our inquiries.

spacious, clean and nice location

We spent the week of Thanksgiving in Seattle with our family of five. The townhouse was clean with colorful, hip furnishings, comfortable beds. We walked to restaurants and a grocery store within 2 blocks. The Fremont Troll and the Gas Works park is a nice walk as is Green Lake Park.
