Renovated to a seriously good level
From the thick carpet throughout the house to the colourful duvets on all the beds, the little pictures on the wall, to the huge TV that does what you want it to! Every thing in the kitchen that you desire including a basic breakfast. Bed was very comfortable and we appreciated the double glazing on all the windows. It is now a Number One destination for us in Timaru.

We are a farming couple with 2 kids 9 & 11
We love watching our kids play sports, our 11 yr old boy loves rugby & our 9 yr daughter loves riding her pony.
George likes surfing & enjoys getting out in the mountains with our son. Farming life does not give us much time off, when we do get time with the family it’s very special.
Rachel likes horses, family and friend time.
We enjoyed renovating this cottage has taken us 6 yrs & lot $$ over budget

Why they chose this property

Love how it is so close to town and can walk to the beach.

What makes this property unique

We have spent the last 6 years renovating this little house, everyone told us to knock it down and build new. We loved the look of the cottage so we decided to rebuild it as new. (It would have been cheaper in the end for us to build a new house!)
During the rebuild many people came and admired it’s progress and were happy that we kept it.
It was originally built in the late 1800’s. The house was just sitting on locally sourced blue stone rocks as its piles. We have used them out the back to make a rock wall.
It has been a labour of love for us and we hope you enjoy staying in our cottage.
