Hatama Bessou is a large old private house full of Japanese atmosphere that can accommodate 15 people with a richly ancient Japanese architecture that is rare these days
Gorgeous stained glass windows are placed throughout the building and the ethereal light will soothe the fatigue of your journey
Hata Bessou exhibits a variety of folk crafts ceramics Hakata dolls ukiyoe prints and French embroidery works
Enjoy the ancient regional and traditional culture of Japan
You can also try on Japanese clothes and yukata
Wear tabi socks and geta sandals and take a walk along the scenic Homan River in Oshima Tsumugi or a gorgeous yukata
We are sure that you will be satisfied
The entire building of Hatama Bessou is designed as a minimuseum where you can enjoy Japanese culture
We hope that it will be a wonderful memory of your trip / Since it is not a shared house you can basically use everything in the building
There are 5 tatami rooms 8 tatami mats 1 Westernstyle room 8 tatami mats
All rooms are separated by shoji and sliding doors
When you go to sleep you lay out your futon When you wake up in the morning you fold it up and put it away
Each room has stained glass creating an elegant atmosphere
In addition there are dolls hanging scrolls ornaments ukiyoe embroidery and other works that exude
