About this property
Seagrass Chalet - Freycinet Holiday Houses
Nestled amidst the tranquillity of nature, Seagrass Chalet is a charming A-frame holiday house that exudes humble simplicity. Its triangular silhouette stands gracefully near the Swan River and the Sandpipers Beach, offering a panoramic view of the serene surroundings.
The exterior blends seamlessly with the lush greenery and the calming hues of the nearby sea. Seagrass Chalet beckons visitors with an unassuming charm, inviting them to experience the perfect balance between rustic charm and modern comfort.
Seagrass Chalet is a charming three-bedroom, two-story house across the road from Swanwick Boat Ramp and a short walk from Sandpiper Beach. Inside, the cozy interior features warm wood accents and large windows that fill the space with natural light, creating an atmosphere of relaxation. With its unpretentious design and proximity to the water, Seagrass Chalet is a haven for those seeking a peaceful retreat and a connection to the beauty of the natural world.
We are delighted to offer you our Tassie Shack: We holiday at Seagrass Chalet too; the house suits our young family of five so it is equipped with everything to make it comfortable and relaxing for both children and parents. It sleeps up to 6 people and has been furnished as a home away from home – stocked with everything you need. Two queen beds and a double are professionally made up with fresh linen and extra blankets should you need them for a good night’s sleep.
The house features an open plan lower level with family sized kitchen, dining area, and lounge with 40″ wall mounted TV connected to the internet for streaming, so you can all curl up on the couch and binge watch episodes of your favourite show online between exploring Coles Bay and soaking up the beach.
Upstairs the spacious main bedroom leads to a balcony looking toward Moulting Lagoon, although on a lucky night you can look south towards the Hazards and hope for an Aurora Australis light show. The two smaller bedrooms have a view of the spectacular Freycinet Peninsula’s Hazards Mountain Range, no veranda here and we should mention only one of the rooms has a door that can be closed.
Separate bathroom and toilet downstairs have a washing machine and shower over a small bath perfectly sized for salty, sandy children. Porta Cot is available and is kept in the main bedroom.
Ensuring the safety of our guests is our top priority at Seagrass Chalet. Although there is a loft room upstairs, please be aware that for your protection, our insurance policy does not cover its use for rental due to steep stairs. We kindly request that you strictly utilise only the ground and first floor during your stay. Your well-being is of utmost importance to us, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation in maintaining a secure and enjoyable environment at our holiday house.
We are delighted to host you and your beloved pet at our pet-friendly property. You are welcome to bring your furry friend, upon request and an extra fee arranged prior to your arrival. Please note that our premises may not be entirely fenced. We kindly ask our guests to be vigilant in looking after their dogs and ensuring they remain within the boundaries of the property. This responsible approach is essential to prevent incidents and maintain a positive relationship within our community.
CCTV is monitoring the front entrance of the property.
