Located 15 minutes from Lake Diefenbaker in a quiet, tiny village 1 hr south of Saskatoon and 2 hrs from Regina, our boutique rental suite lies within our antique former church building that turns 115 years old this year ✨
Our luxurious suite features plenty of space to kick back and relax both inside and out, away from the busy cities.
This suite is perfect for a staycation, couples getaway, friends get away, staff/wellness retreats or bridal party (upstairs is available for weddings, events & classes as well.)

• 3 queens beds offer accommodation for 6 guests (if you require more, please inquire for options)

Beautiful place and property - so quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Only suggestion for improvement for our visit would be a the addition of a shower with the tub. Would definitely recommend it. It would be a beautiful space for a bridal party to get ready and take photos.

What a gem! Highly recommed!

Cute place, nicely decorated. Enjoyed a great girls weekend here with friends. Beds were comfortable, very clean and had everything we needed. So nice to be close to the lake/beach and to go for walks & exploring thru the sleepy little town. You will love your stay here!!

Sarah was such a generous host. The property is beautiful and the landscaping is stunning. And it’s a birders paradise! The place was well stocked, clean and cute as hell. I would love to come back!

Relaxing and Beautiful

The property is CHARMING and every detail has been considered for the guests. A mix of history and modern details surround the walls of the rooms. The outdoor gazebo is a comfortable spot to listen to the birds sing, smell the roses and sit for hours. Did not want to leave :)

Charming and peaceful

My husband and I stayed here one night on a road trip around Lake Diefenbaker. The space was gorgeous and the surrounding including a gazebo on the property peaceful and lovely. The communications with the host very timly and we would definitely both stay here again and reccomend it to others

Sweet Getaway to the Country

This cute suite was great getaway from the city. My husband and I enjoyed doing some fun photography of the older properties in Hawarden and Loreburn. Beautiful property and a quick drive (1 hour) from Saskatoon. Clean and Sarah was a great host! Good coffee and a Smart TV/Wifi!

Great little rural weekend getaway

We dug our little getaway at Sarah's place. What a lovely yard, with the birds singing and the BBQ outside in the gazebo for making dinner. The soaker tub was the other real winner... What a great way to wrap a cool spring evening. We'd certainly consider a return trip someday.

A Friend's Get Away for the Books

This rental suite was the icing on the cake to a fabulous friend's weekend. The property is absolutely lovely and we all felt very at home there. We enjoyed exploring the quaintness of Strongfield, as well as the neighbouring towns and Lake Diefenbaker. The host was very responsive and accommodating. I have no doubt we will be back.

Tastefully renovated country church

We enjoyed this property during fall bird migration time. It was beautifully decorated, quiet and peaceful. Furnishings were an eclectic mix of old and new, and beds were very comfortable. The upper floor is still functional as a church space while accommodations are below. Even well into fall, the grounds were lovely with petunias and other plants still blooming; it would be pleasant to spend time in the gazebo during warmer summer months.

Quiet weekend getaway

We enjoyed our weekend at this rental suite. The suite is spacious and comfortable, and the decor is tasteful and charming. We also enjoyed the yard, with its beautiful flowers, trees and shrubs. Relaxing in the gazebo was a great way to spend a lazy summer afternoon. So why only four stars? Unfortunately, the place doesn't have a stove, and some of the food we brought with us required a cooktop. We were able to improvise with the convection oven and microwave for some things, but would have brought other options had we realized the kitchen doesn't include a stove. This wouldn't deter us from booking this place again, however. It really was lovely!
