Admirals Lodge - Unit 7

Welcome to Admirals lodge!

Our family friendly complex offers a great location and all the necessities, throw a pool in to the mix and you will find that you have chosen the best family vacation spot!

Each of our 2 bedroom apartments are fully self contained. There is a fully self contained kitchen for those nights you just want to stay in and relax at home.. All of the apartments (Except Unit 6) welcome pets as well!. Although the units are similar (Each main bedroom has a queen bed), there are a few slight variations.

Unit 1: Second bedroom: Has a double trio bunk.
Unit 5: Second bedroom: Has a bunk and single bed. This unit also has aircon in the main living area
Unit 6: Second bedroom: Has 2 x single beds and blow up trundle. This is an upstairs apartment which ahs some lake views from the private balcony. This unit is not pet friendly.

The complex provides onsite parking, unlimited Wifi, a communal BBQ and entertaining area as well as the pool and even a small playground!

Admirals lodge is located in the sought after Fishpen area of Merimbula. Turn left out of the complex and you are just a short walk to Merimbula Lake, turn right and you will find yourself heading towards Mitchies jetty and Ford park.

Property was very nice. Needs a couple of things fixed. Light in cooker hood not working and clothes rack needs replaced. Otherwise a great place to stay.

Pretty basic

This appartment felt a bit rundown and quite basic. It was not expensive for Merimbula which I feel is very expensive. Considering it was out of season, I felt it was a bit too expensive. I spent 3 days on my own for work and my family joined me for the weekend. It would have been a dissappointing stay if was a major family holiday. There were a few things that should have been fixed: eg some power points didn't work, and the screen door was a bit difficult to get closed at times, the windows rattled and were hard to open/close. Several things were old and tired: eg the blinds. Generally, it felt quite budget: like a motel from the 1980s. Servicing could have been better: very few toilet rolls and laundry detergent for a family for a week's stay; no garbage bags; the recycling bags were shredded when we tried to use them. We did ask for a working iron (old one didn't work), which was provided very quickly: thanks.
