This property is a spacious unique custom built four season hand scribed luxury log home built on 2.5 secluded acres with a private sand beach, large lakeside manicured lawn, campfire area and boathouse/bunkhouse. Home is located right on the snowmobile and ATV Trails! 5,400 Sq Ft with 4 Bedrooms (includes 2 primary suites) plus Den/5th bedroom, sleeping 12 with 5 bath, large loft and separate bunkhouse at the waters edge on the beach; sleeps 2. Theater style media TV, sauna, pool table, game tables, satellite TV, Netflix, Wi-Fi, washer & dryer, 50' dock, fish cleaning table. Full gourmet kitchen with all service and bar wear and full linens and towels provided. The home is located at the far West end of Big Bay which offers secluded calm waters with minimal wind perfect for fishing, jet skiing, waterskiing or tubing as well as rafting boats to the dock.

Located on Hwy 77/snowmobile trail between Cook & Tower, MN. 13 Miles to Cook, MN and 10 miles to Tower, MN. 5 miles NW of the Y Store on County Rd 77 from Hwy 169. Located 1 mile from Tavern in the Bay Restaurant with an expansive outdoor multi-level deck dining experience with a tiki hut bar and 1 mile from the Vermilion Club with the world famous giant Bamboozler pizza and excellent food. Long paved secluded circular driveway down from County Rd 77 with plenty of parking for cars and large trailers. You cannot see any neighbors and neighbors cannot see you! 3 miles from Everett’s Bay public boat launch (free)

We had 6 guys up to fish and this house is perfect. Great facility all around and had plenty of of parking for three trucks pulling bass boat trailers. The docks were very nice and protected from wind. Would highly recommend this and stay again..

Beautiful Cabin

We had an incredible stay and thought the cabin was absolutely amazing. It is extremely clean and has a ton of character. The backyard is huge, and it is located in a perfectly quiet part of the lake. Overall, I can't recommend staying here enough, and we hope to be back next year.

We had a lovely family reunion! The large home was perfect for our occasion. The kitchen was well-stocked and had plenty of counter space and even a Butler's pantry! Each of the three levels had areas for conversations and/or games. The bunkhouse also held lawn chairs and lawn games. Communications with the owner were easy and gracious. All in all, we couldn't have asked for anything better!

Relaxing Vacation

The log home is definitely nicer than the pictures. We enjoyed boating, tubing, swimming, fishing and relaxing during our week stay. The amenities were great. Many family members enjoyed the paddle board and the kayak. Our accommodations comfortably fit all fourteen family members. Every evening had a cool lake breeze, and more windows with screens facing the lake would have even made our stay much better.

The property was better than we expected. It was clean, updated, yet rustic. The view of the lake was pristine. Although the water and air were cold for July it did not stop us from having a fabulous northern experience in this beautiful home.

This place was great. Nice beach; many boat toys; cleand and well-maintained; fabulous kitchen equipment; excellent TV. Great for both adults and kids interested in playing on the beach, or canoeing, wake-boarding, kayaking. I can't think of a way to improve it.

Amazing Lake Home

This home is stunning. There was everything we needed for cooking. Loved the pantry for storing our supplies. They had plenty of lake toys and chairs. There was a kayak, canoe, paddle boat and yard games for our use. The lake is a bit rocky so would suggest water shoes for wading along the shoreline. Next visit we will definitely get a pontoon boat to explore the lake. Would highly recommend this lake home, especially for large groups as there is plenty of room for spreading out.

Why they chose this property

This property was constructed from local trees outside of Ely. This is a one of a kind hand scribed custom log home. You will notice the logs are all different sizes and some are massively big. There is a floating wood staircase and has several wood carvings including one the size of an actual bear! In floor heat to keep your feet warm in the winter.
