This was just what is needed after a few stressful weeks. It has everything you need. Just bring your food and drinks. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I will be back again.
This is our second time staying at the Hatch Hut. It is so perfectly peaceful and secluded for an amazing getaway. The only thing anyone should be prepared for is no oven. However, once we knew it was a BBQ, stove top and fire pit. We planned for this. :)
This was a wonderful property. Very quiet and peaceful. The check in/out process was seamless. Very clean. Need to only bring food. My favourite spots were the loft and the covered porch. Beautiful place to have coffee in the morning.
It was a perfect, quiet, get-away with a lovely prairie-wildlife setting and a cozy little cabin with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was an efficient use of space, surprisingly innovative in an industrial sense. Very nicely decorated, slightly masculine in design, perfect for the setting. I loved the loft as it was my spot for the weekend. The wooden ladder, pipe handles and the jean covered threshold made it easy for a fit 68 yr. old woman to enjoy the cozy little room with beautiful window views that were breath-taking. Our host Levi gave good directions to the location and we had no difficulty finding it. He was also very attentive to our needs responding quickly to our requests. The cabin was clean and well equipped for all our needs. We had a restful long weekend and would definitely consider returning in the future.

Building unique structures is a passion of mine and so I figured the best way to express that passion is by sharing it with others.
Why they chose this property
I grew up in Sunset House on a small grain farm. After leaving and traveling across Canada for seven years my wife and I eventually came back, deciding that there truly was no place like home.
What makes this property unique
This A-frame hybrid cabin was designed and built by myself. I wanted it to be an oasis of seclusion in a peaceful stand of trees away from all our busy lives.
