## #38 ##
Almost Absolute Beachfront- nothing in front of you except council reserve
Our #38 is a refurbished 3 bedroom holiday home that accommodates up to 6 guests comfortably, with direct access to the beach.
Our open plan kitchen includes fridge/freezer, oven and cooktop, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine (BYO pods), toaster, kettle, rice cooker, pots, pans, cutlery, crockery, glasses and pantry and opens on to the comfortable dining and living area. Some basic condiments such as oil and salt and pepper are kept in the pantry. Alfoil and gladwrap are in the third drawn down in the kitchen. The dining area can seat 6, but can extend to seat 8 to 10 at a push, if you have friends over for dinner.
The lounge room includes 2 x recliners, a 3 person sofa, a web enabled TV, bean bag and floor cushions. We have installed a split system reverse cycle air-conditioner for your comfort. There is also a wood fire for warmth in winter (you will need to supply wood for this- but it can be arranged with prior notice).
The front door off the living area opens to the expansive deck which includes a 6 person outdoor setting and hooded BBQ. We spend most of our time here taking in the glorious sea views.
The games room contains a full size billiards table, dart board, board games, books and a selection of toys for the kids. You are welcome to use these. Please just be careful with the billiard table. We do not allow food or drinks to be placed on the table and thankyou in advance for your understanding and respecting this rule.
The are 3 bedrooms at the property. The main bedroom includes a queen bed and large windows with sea views. The second bedroom includes a tri bunk and single bed. The third bedroom has a double bed. Most bedrooms have storage and hanging space, full length mirrors, blankets and extra pillows, reading lights, overhead fans and block out blinds.
WE CAN SLEEP 8 PEOPLE COMFORTABLY. WE ARE NOT ABLE TO ACCOMMODATE PEOPLE SLEEPING ON THE FLOOR.
The main bathroom has a vanity, full size shower and toilet, hairdryer, bath mat, hand towels and basic toiletries. We do supply some toilet paper but you will need more for the duration of your stay. There is a separate toilet down the hallway as well as a shower to wash off the sand in the laundry. The laundry includes a front loading washing machine which you are welcome to use. There is a clothes line for hanging things to dry on the back verandah.
All linen, including bath towels, but EXCLUDING beach towels, is supplied. Pillows and quilts are provided, together with extra blankets in winter.
The fire pit is amazing in winter- cook marshmallows as you watch the stars and satellites pass overhead on clear nights.
We launch our kayaks and SUPs from the front regularly. The shallows are also a magical place to sit with your afternoon beverage, resting in the water as the tide gently floats in and around you.
Pt Turton has a Tavern, excellent boat ramp and jetty. There is a General Store which stocks groceries, fuel, ice, bait, take away foods, delicious fresh baked goods, PO and EFTPOS facilities. Warooka, 10 minutes drive, and Yorketown, 20 minutes drive, are the closest bigger shopping areas, both have hardware stores and larger supermarkets which are open most days.
Should you require groceries for your visit, you can order in advance and have them delivered, or we can organise something for you. Please do not hesitate to get in touch to organise this.
No smoking inside the property.
As we are not fenced, we have adopted a NO PETS policy, including visiting pets.
As we have some personal items stored, currently access to the large shed at the back of the property and the lean too shed next to the house is not allowed.
Please note this is our holiday home that we are sharing with you. We love it. Please treat it with respect.
Enjoy your stay on the glorious Yorke Peninsula.

We really enjoyed staying here as a family. Well set up with plenty for kids of all age ranges to do. Nice and close to the beach and local township. We’d definitely stay again

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Disliked: Cleanliness
This property was advertised as 2 bathroom when in fact the 2nd bathroom was just an open shower with no curtain. No pedestal fan was supplied although it was listed. Linen was supplied but could have done with hand towels. A better clothesline/airer would also be a good option as we could not hang all washing at once. General cleanliness was also a bit lacking (eg popcorn on floor in second bedroom). Shower was good in main bathroom although door was broken. All that being said, Nadia herself was a good host. She was very prompt at responding to messages and gave some helpful information about the area
