We showed up and it was super cute, really easy to get into the property. Absolutely beautiful location. House was clean, inviting and looked so pretty. The layout of the house was perfect for the dogs crates since we took both out dogs. Everyone in my family was having such a a stressful end of year 2025 that this vacation and home made everyone so calm and we had an amazing 3 day vacation and great start to the new year!! We will definitely look into this property again over the summer and possibly next new years since it worked out so nicely. Came back to reality afterwards and the kids still haven't stopped talking about the house! We suggest staying! The beds were comfortable the view is great and all the amenities were fun!

Where's the river!
When looking for a rental, we looked specifically at sites near lakes or rivers. We are not from the area so had no idea that the river had been dammed up stream and there was only a creek and alot of overgrowth where the nice big river used to be. Very disappointing as the rental advertises "w/Fire Pit & Kayaks!" Not sure where the kayaks were to be used but not there. I won't comment on the tiny little thing called a fire pit.The only thing that made the trip not a total waste of money was the house was very nice and comfortable. Clean and the appliances are all nice. Beds were a little uncomfortable, seemed like alot of wear. The deck was nice but a hightop that had not been cleaned was not used. Thank god we brought our own chairs. And then lastly, the grill. Oh my god, please clean it. And fix the ignitor. I took the cover off, saw the disgust but was going to clean it off BUT I COULDN'T LIGHT THE DAMN THING! That was pretty much the last straw. We left the next day, a day early and lost a few hundred bucks.
