We invite you to experience our country paradise, where you will wake up surrounded by calmness, greeted by your first sunrise during your stay. It's the ideal tiny house Victoria retreat situated in a beautiful heritage country town with stunning views of the Macedon Ranges.

Here at Central Ranges, we guarantee that your stay will be nothing short of exceptional, and the best hospitality possible.

The Space:
Central Ranges sits in the quiet country town of Malmsbury, just an hour's drive from the cities of Melbourne and Ballarat. A peaceful retreat situated in a beautiful heritage country town across from all the best sights of the Macedon ranges. Nearby Wombat Hill Botanic Gardens, The Stables - Malmsbury, and Golden Square in Bendigo.

A lovely tiny home, approximately 155 square feet in size. It has easy water access, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. This includes an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and gas-heated shower.

If you plan to spend your tiny house Victoria retreats here, we advise that you bring your necessities, such as food and water during your stay with us. Thank you.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny house and the entrance on Baldry St., but not beyond the fence into the front house.

Guests should stay within the tiny home's fence line and refrain from entering the property on 50 Ross St. We advise guests to respect the privacy and security of other neighbouring properties.

Central Ranges Retreat is situated in the charming country town of Malmsbury, just an hour's drive from the cities of Melbourne and Ballarat. Both similarly known for their stunning architecture and vibrant arts that rival that of New York.

Our local recommendations:

- The Stables is a Mediterranean restaurant and pizzeria open from Thursday to Sunday, from 9 am to 10 pm.
- Golden Square is a charming family-friendly suburb of Bendigo, with scenic streets lined with classic and ultra-modern homes.
- Merchants of Malmsbury offers delicious meals and coffee and is a great place to stop on your way back to Melbourne.
- Wombat Hill Botanic Gardens and Castlemaine Botanical Gardens are a few of the nearby attractions that provide leisure walking tracks, a scenic drive, and a picnic area.

Neighbouring towns:

- Daylesford is only 25 mins away from the tiny house which is known for its natural mineral springs.
- Castlemaine is about 23 mins away from the tiny house. This town is renowned for its eclectic arts scene, gold rush history, and growing reputation as a fine food destination.
- Kyneton has a large number of beautiful restaurants and food choices. It is only 10 mins away from the tiny house.

By car:

- 1 hr, 4 mins drive from Ballarat
- 1hr, 15 mins drive from Melbourne
- The nearest major town is 5 minutes away and has easy access with any vehicle

By public transport:

- The train station is 1 minute

Other Things to Note:
- No WiFi
- Gas BBQ Grill is available
- No breakfast restaurants in town
- Pets not allowed as we have a sheep
- Smoking only in the fire pit area is allowed
- All mobile reception has a good signal
- No unregistered guests or visitors allowed
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge

Important note:

- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property.
- Keep in mind that gas BBQ grill and outdoor fire pit are not available during a total fire ban
- To maintain the cleanliness and functionality of our cassette toilet a minimum additional cleaning fee is applied for stays of 5 nights or more. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring a hygienic experience during your stay.
