Everything was great, however I did have call on Thursday to let someone know that the sliding door wouldn’t lock. Also got an email today that said that if I scanned the QR code on the refrigerator I would get a discount on the next visit and I would like to come back but there was one no QR code.

I do not typically give reviews and overall, I rated the stay as Pleasing because our Family loves Mexico Beach. The only concern I had was cleanliness of the unit upon check in there was actual sand in the guest bed so therefore we stripped both beds and washed them on the first night of stay.

Mexico Beach Condo

This condo was very nice and looks just like the pictures. The pool is steps away and beach access is a very short walk straight across the street. My only complaint is we had to wear shoes inside the condo, otherwise our feet were black, which has been an issue at several places I've rented. The cleaners definitely need to do a better job mopping.

Check in

Started with check in after hours is not a user friendly experience at all. We called the # for check in and reached someone not in Florida or even the USA!! Was told someone would call me. I called at 5:20 central standard and they closed at 5:30 eastern time although condo is in central time zone. Was called back @ 6:17 central standard time with a code. Was given I think three different codes and then was give the realtors code to use for the 1st night. The next morning I was called with a new code and it worked 1 time and then not again. Finally, we just continued using the realtors code to avoid more frustration from Pristine Properties. Another issue for me is anyone with a realtor code can come in at any time- there is no dead bolt to secure your property for the night or chain lock or anything. Didn’t feel totally safe while staying there at all. Also, don’t forget toilet paper and garbage bags cause you get one and one only. Would not recommend nor will I stay with Pristine Properties again. They are not the caliber vacation home that I am accustomed to receiving with my vrbo finds! Then lastly trying to check out online and there system would not accept! So, again I had to call to take care of the problem this time I did reach a realtor but not in my area but was nice and knowledgeable. I gave her my feedback on Sunday and she said she would have someone contact me with my concerns but as of Tuesday evening I haven’t heard from anyone.
