Mosquitos and Sandflies
Given it’s the wet tropics and the proximity to our beautiful mangroves, flying insects are prevalent at certain times of the year, particularly in the wetter months and especially when there is no breeze or during mornings and evenings. Generally being on the second floor, they are less of a problem, but in the event of flying and biting insects, you will find Insect repellent for your convenience. Turning the verandah ceiling fan on can also deter them, as can keeping the screen doors closed. Please take care around the pool area during the wetter months, mornings and evenings.
