This place is a little gem by the water. Very central so you can make day trips in any direction. Bridgewater is only 20 mins away. Loved the peaceful setting.
The cottage was clean and well appointed with everything you could need. Owner is very nice and made sure my stay was amazing. Definitely recommend staying here for the view and the peace and quiet!

Thank you. We are glad you enjoyed your stay. Perhaps we will see you again.
Stayed for 3 nights in October 2025. The home was as described. Right on the water. Rooms good size, internet worked great, pet-friendly. Very secluded but not too far from town. Could hear owls in the evening and the local farm rooster in the morning. Worth the stay.

We are glad you enjoyed your stay. We would welcome you back anytime.
The cottage was very clean and well stocked with everything you could need. BBQ was clean and ready for use. Waking up to the sound of a loon and having your morning coffee so close to the lake was amazing. The Owner made sure our stay was amazing. Definitely recommend others to come and see for yourself.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in
Disliked: Location, listing accuracy
My dog was welcome, that is not the problem. The property is VERY isolated; it was'nt mentionned in the ad. There aren't any neighbourgs beside the cottage for several km. There is one neighbourg on the other side of the main road, on top of the hill leading to the cottage.I was afraid for me and my dog: what to do if someone decide to come down the hill at night? I couldn't let my dog outside alone, too afraid of the coyotes or wolfes or other wild animal. We had a power faiure and there was no flashlight nor candles and no water after a few hours. The owner offered to drive me , but never offered a hotel room. I left after ony one month. I offered to pay 2 months and asked for a refund for the third month: it was denied. Over all, it was an unpleasant experience, not at all suitable for a widow alone with her dog.
The property is netled in the trees by a beautiful lake. You can enjoy your morning coffee steps from the water and watch the deer graze on the lawn in the evening. Cathy is very easy to communicate with. The home is cozy and well equipped. A lovely place to relax.
