This home is absolute perfection! Owners thought of everything you would need but food, clothes and a toothbrush! So clean and looks professionally decorated.
The cutest property with the comfort of home. You can tell the owners put a lot of thought and personal touches into this home and the amenities were spectacular. Our family of 4 adults and one pup had the most comfortable stay and stay here again without a doubt!
Very comfortable, very clean, beautiful home. Great location especially if you are visiting Fort Knox. Everything we needed was provided, had every amenity needed. IT'S PERFECT!

Liked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
Had everything from coffee, tea, cocoa and condiments. Laundry detergent, bath soap and shampoo. The property is not fenced in so, if you want to leave your dog outside there is a line they supply and a eye hook that is attached to the tree that you can hook the line too.The online photos of the inside does not do it justice...its nicer in person. Bed was comfortable. And the country setting was perfect!
Very clean quiet and beautiful place to stay. I used the place to stay while on business at Fort Knox KY. Owners are very friendly and attentive. Very private and friendly environment.
The house was exceptionally clean and well decorated. It had all the amenities necessary for an outstanding stay. The beds were comfortable. Everything was well kept and in good order. Totally quiet and off the beaten path. We would definitely stay here again when in the area.
We had a wonderful stay. The house was located down a beautiful road, just outside of all of the chaos of the big city. The house was neat, clean and so cute! The yard was huge and perfect for playing with some outdoor games/toys that we brought along. Beds were comfortable and the whole house just felt cozy. We will definitely stay here again, if we get back to the area!
We stayed here for our son’s graduation from Fort Knox. The house was a nice
place to hang out and rest with our family. Rebekah was responsive and helpful. The house had plenty of Lenin’s and was very clean and comfortable. It was also conveniently located near Fort Knox.
A nice break from a busy city. I love that we have access to cities around us, but also get to enjoy the quiet countryside. The place was very peaceful and so beautiful. I kept thinking, I wonder if residents that live in the area know how good they have it.
As far as the home, the rooms were comfortable. There were more than enough towels and washcloths. It pretty much has everything you need. If I ever found myself in the area, I would stay again.
The pictures don’t even do this house justice, it was beautiful! It was quaint, cozy, welcoming, clean, well stocked with everything we needed and beautifully decorated. Very spacious, nice big table to accommodate my family, kitchen was very big, and again had everything we needed! Special touches like a coffee bar, extra blankets and pillows, and games for the family to play made it a great experience! The only reason I have it a 4/5 for location was a little off the beaten path but not far from places. We were there for our son’s army graduation and it only took us 15 minutes to get to the Fort Knox base. Definitely better than paying for a hotel that would be overpriced, this house was well worth the money. I wish I could pick up this little cottage-like home and bring to Ohio!
The things that I'd really have to say are not ideal are things that are very clear on the listing or more about the location which is the only place where i didn't give 5. One bathroom is pretty meh. The bathroom itself is fine, if a little small but just having one with 5 people is not ideal. I'm very unenthusiastic about the location. No sidewalks and in some places along the road the grass isnt even cut. Still, you could walk a dog in a U on the side streets. The alternatives are more expensive and in one case not big enough for our group. I am hoping the next time i am in town with my wife i can convince her to stay here instead of Corydon. I really hate the drive to Corydon. This time, i had my dog, so options were limited. Everyone in the party enjoyed the location. In contrast, after this, i went to a vrbo deep in Indiana where a dog came over and tried to intimidate us. My dog is a pitbull and we...were not intimidated, but you really dont want to have to put your dog in that situation if you don't have to. The Brandenburg location felt very safe aside from the narrow, winding roads with deer...but again, you might see deer on the way to Corydon and speeds are likely to be faster so it is a give and a take. So, i guess the teo things are there is a supply issue in Brandenburg so given the options i think this is a great option but if you dont like country roads, it is not the place for you. One last point:a cheap and easy addition to the location would be a yoga mat.
