NOT READY FOR GUESTS
We have a ton to say about our extremely expensive and incredibly disappointing stay over the Fourth of July (2024). We hope to help someone else along the way before they're out hundreds like we are.
In short...
THIS UNIT IS IN NO WAY READY FOR PAYING GUESTS.
For starters, it did not sleep six like advertised (the convertible couch is small and broken), so we had to go buy a cot for our guest.
One bathroom has a leak somewhere under the floor; shower water literally pours into the bedroom. Dirty water seeps out from under the flooring as you walk through the bedroom. Fun times.
And that water brings the roaches. Oh yes, and there are many! Luckily the ones we didn't kill hid away after the first night, but be prepared (see my suggested packing list below).
This unit may be fine with some fixes (the ceiling leaks into the living room/"bed"), some chairs to sit on (there are literally none), and some basic necessities that are always part of a rental property (especially @ +$500/night).
If you insist on moving forward with this rental, here's a helpful list of things you will need to bring:
Toilet paper (there was half a roll)
Cleaning supplies, including a broom/dustpan (there is literally nothing to clean with)
Roach motels (or flip-flops to kill them with)
Cot (if you have more than four full-sized adults)
Paper towels (there were none)
Garbage bags (there was one)
Plates, cups, etc. (there were four of each)
Towels (they left us four for six people/multi-day stay)
