Perfect home at the river
We stayed for a weekend - wished it would've been longer! Great, quiet family home with lots of character in a beautiful spot by the river. Kitchen is well equipped with all that's needed. Everything is very organized and clean. We enjoyed kayaking and the campfire in the evening. Thanks Kelly - we'll try to come back again soon.

Summer 2024
We had a great stay at the cottage with our kids & dogs. The cottage was well-appointed, with the full kitchen so we did a few crab boils - excellent! Paddled up and down the Big Annemessex River, very peaceful, lots of birds and wildlife to observe. It's a beautiful spot.
The property is clean and decorated beautifully. If you love nature this is the place for you . We were there a week and saw baby foxes, bald eagles, Herons, cranes, hummingbirds, pileated woodpecker, crabs, fish, deer….enjoy a cup of coffee on the screened in porch and watch the sunrise. Beautiful place.

From the owner: "Really thankful for your review. Happy nature showed up for your time at the cottage!"
This was our first time renting this property and will probably be a yearly stay from here on out. It was a great vacation. We appreciated all the little things as well such as, 3-in-1body was for men and women, kitchen supplies like zip lock bags, firewood and propane for the grill. There are a lot more things but that is just some to mention. Our pups really enjoyed the stay as well.

Happy to hear you enjoyed your time at the cottage!! We try to do our best for our guests, including the furry ones. Hope to host you again! Thank you for the review.
As a mom of two , one with Tourette’s and comorbidies that go with it, relaxing getaways are few and far between. This was just what the doctor ordered. Kayaking, fishing, nature walks!!
Lovely secluded cottage, perfect place to get away! The cottage was very clean and decorated to match the area. We sat on the screened in porch in the evenings and chilled. Even with the high tides we could not have been happier. In all the years we have rented through VRBO, this was by far, the best communication we have experienced. We will definitely be back!
Overall very good. Bath/shower needs upgrade Gas fireplace hard to start. May need maintenance Very pet friendly. Dog bowls, bed, and toys on site Owner allowed early arrival and was responsive quickly to any questions that we had

the place to be
Our time at the Westover river front cottage was beyond our dreams! The water front scenery was just breathtaking...water fowl, eagles, nature all around. The inside coziness, complete with everything we could need was right at our fingertips. The decor was relaxing and colorful at the same time. Ben and Kelly answered our questions at a moments' notice! Our traveling companion dog was made to feel right at home with the little extras Kelly provided. Our exploration of the area led us to Assateague National Seashore...which was quite delightful. We even caught site of the wild ponies! The towns of Berlin and Crisfield are close by as well as Pocomoke State Park and Janes Island State Park.Westover Cottage is "the place to be" for exploring and enjoying the lower eastern Shore of Maryland!Kudos to Ben and Kelly for making it possible for us to have such a spectacular time!
