The 800 square foot south facing E cottage was built at Algonquin College from locally sourced products and reclaimed wood. Moved to its location it sits high atop concrete pillars to give it a million dollar view of the very beautiful Kennebec Lake. The shoreline is a combination massive granite rock and calm serene bay. Enjoy days swimming in the beautiful deep water or sitting atop the granite rock watching the loons float by.
The Sustainable Design Build program used passive solar design, green building principles, and healthy materials to create this high quality, high performance, and low energy cottage.
Each space has been carefully curated and fined tuned with hospitality in mind. Inspired from cultures around the globe.
