Very comfortable. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped compared to other places we have stayed. Responsive host. Good home base to enjoy the many activities in the atea.
The chalet is nested is nature and is wonderful. The wood everywhere was so warm and charming! We loved our time there and at Baie Saint Paul! The kitchen has everything you need and the living room is spacious. The deck is amazing too! Just be careful with mosquitoes! Eric the host has an entire folder with details on hikes! It’s so cool! We had such a great stay!
We spent a night in Baie Sainte-Paul, under a clear and starry-sky, enroute to the Atlantic coast for a summer, family roadtrip. The next morning, everyone was reluctant to leave.
Whether for a beautiful summer retreat, or a winter skiing vacation, this property and its hosts were beyond lovely. We are already planning our next visit. C'etait génial!

Plusses and minuses
Pluses: The lakefront and outside property are beautiful. The host communicated with us often and drove out to help us with our checkin. He really made an effort. Minuses: the lighting is very dim and the living room ceiling light did not work properly. There was little storage or closet space available. The screen door had a rip. The checkin booklet was not helpful. The wifi code in it was illegible due to dark highlighting. No instructions about the Murphy bed. No top sheet on the Murphy bed. A lot of our problems were due to the host’s poor English. We booked three nights but left after one night.
