Magpie Cottage is situated in a quiet attractive semi-rural part of Taumarunui. The cottage has traditional features with the comfort of modern amenities.

Enjoy the guest rooms which are your private space. There is a desk and Smart TV in Room 1 and French Windows opening onto a covered deck in Room 2 with garden and semi-rural views.

You have exclusive use of the attractive spacious modern bathroom. There is also a separate second toilet,

Enjoy the shared lounge/dining and kitchen area as well as the outside covered deck.

Should you require it you also have access to an iron, washing machine and dryer.

We had a lovely stay at the Magpie cottage. A comfortable room and spacious bathroom were very welcome after a day of driving around. Martin is a very nice and dedicated host who provides interesting information about the history of Taumarunui. Highly recommended.
