Good location and nice house. There were a few things we were disappointed in. There was no netflix and the drains in the bathroom were semi blocked so you could only have a quick shower. We ran out of gas for the BBQ and they said they would drop off another bottle, but never did.

Okay, could have been better

We were a large family group in Christchurch for our daughter's wedding. The house accomodated our large group, and is in an excellent location. There a number of broken or damaged things about the house, and the cleanliness of the house was not ideal. In particular, the air conditioning did not work, and there was a lot of garden matter/leaves in and around the front and back doors, back porch and spa.

Okay

The house was nice, but needs some work. The fireplace was great but not working at optimal ability so you burnt through a lot of wood quickly. However, a good amount of wood was supplied. The aircon did not work and this was not communicated prior to staying. Beds not super comfortable and not adequate beds set up for the number of people booked or communication about this prior to the stay. (Note the listing initially advertised for 12 and was changed to 8 with no communication about this as well. We had booked for 10).Property manager was easy and good to communicate with, however, some issues were addressed but not sorted (both bins were full on the first day we arrived and we were staying for a week, property manager had the incorrect date for bin collection). Check in was quick and easy! The area seemed tense - someone reported a vehicle in the driveway incorrectly that was not ours, nor did we see, which the property manager messaged us politely about.Heaps of space for our group and loved the seating, fireplace and bedrooms. The house is aged and appeared in need of work to be done in some areas eg. A Broken window, cracked basin, ripped curtains. We secured a toilet seat that was loose when we arrived. There was a mediocre cleanliness level - some cupboards had crumbs and had not been wiped, the BBQ had not been cleaned.Note. There was limited kitchenware supplied.
