First of all, the views are stunning. One can sit and watch the whole evening evolve before you. We biked to a few wineries from the property and location was perfect. The property itself was amazing to explore and we so enjoyed our morning walk. Jo and Bruce were exception hosts and nothing was too much effort. We even were given a bundle of feijoas when we left. We hope to visit again.

Needing Quiet? - don’t stay here
We booked a Feb stay there solely with the expectation we could relax and take in the fabulous rural views. To sit with a book on the verandah and enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside. Not to be.. At 6:30 every morning we woke to the noise of gas powered bird guns firing 6-8 shots per minute until 8 pm ish every day. We were not warned about this until our arrival. We had no choice but to shut doors and pull curtains to reduce the noise, but mostly we left the property for most of the day to stay sane. Maybe music to the ears of those invested in vineyards but for us it was disappointingly invasive. Beautifully built, but it’s a shared washing machine in the garage, and only electric jug/coffee pod machine/microwave cooking facilities in the hallway.maybe we picked the wrong season ?
